I got a call from this number 2 days ago 12/11 saying that if I didnt get a hold of them asap that the cops were coming the very next morning to arrest me at my job. I tried to get the information on the company that had supposedly had a lawsuit  against me but they were unwilling to give me any information. I was FREAKED OUT... So I listened to what they had to say, and then the bells went off and red flag went up when he told me I needed to go to CVS and get a Green Dot Money Pack to pay them with. He gave me 24 hours. On 12/12 he called back, but I didnt answer. He then called back while I was actually at work on 12/13 and my boss answered the phone for me and told them that we knew it was a scam and if they didnt stop calling me that we were going to file harassment charges on them. He got an attitude with her telling her that I would be in jail by noon tomorrow.  I added their number to my reject list, and went on about my day.

Report them to the FBI and the FTC.  They will open an investigation into the phone number.  They've called me three times today and I've answered with the same line " Are you serious, you have been reported to the FBI and the local police"

was called 12/13/13 about the same lawsuit and if i didn'tpay i would be in jail the next day, even threatened to come to my place of employment.

Got the same call and he could NOT tell me when the loan was deposited and I NEVER  received money! It's a scam I am reporting them and what's funny is they don't have my real banking info! Ha! I am still reporting them. They called me today. 12/16/13 Keith Andrews was his name from (615) 246-5584

I received a fraudulent call from you saying that I was being sued and would be thrown in jail I I didn't pay 8000 dollars back at CVS or WALGREENS! The FBI knows about you Keith Anderson! Thank you for being dumb!

Extortion Scam Related to Delinquent Payday Loans

The Internet Crime Complaint Center has received many complaints from victims of payday loan telephone collection scams. Callers claim the victim is delinquent in a payday loan and must repay the loan to avoid legal consequences. The callers purport to be representatives of the FBI, Federal Legislative Department, various law firms, or other legitimate-sounding agencies. They claim to be collecting debts for companies such as United Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Net, and other Internet check-cashing services.

According to complaints received from the public, the callers have accurate data about victims, including Social Security numbers, dates of birth, addresses, employer information, bank account numbers, and the names and telephone numbers of relatives and friends. How the fraudsters obtained the personal information varies, but in some cases victims have reported they completed online applications for other loans or credit cards before the calls started.

The fraudsters relentlessly call the victim’s home, cell phone, and place of employment. They refuse to provide any details about the alleged payday loans and become abusive when questioned. The callers have threatened victims with legal actions, arrests, and, in some cases, physical violence if they do not pay. In many cases, the callers harass victims’ relatives, friends, and employers.

These guys won't stop calling. keep sayin I'm going to jail and there's a law suit being filed against me. also police r going to my place of employment. i try calling the # back and get nothing but a busy tone. they r VERY rude when i do answer n ask to quit calling

Just got a call from this number saying all the same [***].  US Cash, the first guy told me one amount of money the next told me another amount and then blocked me.  Reporting to the Feds and FTC.

I started receiving calls from 615-246-5584 stating they were looking for me and they had an address that I lived at several years ago with my ex husband.  A John Harris said I needed to pay $498.00 to avoid being locked up in jail for 21 days. he said that I had a payday loan with 1 of the 8000 US Cash places and he was suing me and if I didn't pay within 2 hours, he would have no other choice than to have me arrested for 30 days to prove myself. I asked for a copy of the document that I am being sued and offered to give my mailing address since I am no longer residing at the address he had and he said he cannot give me that information. He hung up, I called back and then his name was Ivan Rodgers, I hung up and called again and then got Tom Cooper. I gave my friend the number and she called and got Kevin Andrews. Then I got a call on my cell and it said Emergency +911 and the lady said she was calling from the office of Luther Strange in Montgomery and I will be arrested on tomorrow 12/16 if I do not satisfy my debt with the creditor that has contacted me. I asked her what is my case number and what this is in reference too.. she hung up. I wanted to report this because I googled the number and found numerous scam reports about this number. This is unfair to those of us who have had payday loans in the past.

I called the number, and asked what company is was, and the middle eastern accent asked., "What business do you have asking me that?

I have had several of these calls.  I actually work for a law firm.  I have been "playing" with these guys.  I called one number over 30 times.  I called a few days later and the guy told me, "Don't you call me again, you f***ing [***]."  I said, "Oh, I'm calling you back."  I called over a dozen times.  No further calls.  

Today I received one from the above number.  I called back to play with them.  A woman answered.  I asked who she was (of course she and the male who called were Indian).  She told me, "Jennifer."  I asked, "And who are you with?"  She told me a law firm.  I told her I was a lawyer, and she hung up on me.  I called back and the male answered.  I told him, "I am actually a lawyer with a law firm in the Indianapolis area.  If we need to discuss something, we need to discuss it now." He told me to have my lawyer call me.  I told him, "I actually AM a lawyer."  He hung up on me.  So, I called at least a dozen or more times and kept getting a busy signal.  Hmmmm.  I guess he didn't want to talk after all.  

Have gotten a very disturbing call from this number tonight telling me that they were going to have me arrested all spoke that they were from a company in Nashville TN
