Called and asked my husband to confirm his birth date. Wouldn't say who they were or why they wanted that information/ why they wanted to talk to him, only that they couldn't talk to him without confirming his birth date. Definitely didn't seem legitimate, as the caller TOLD him his birth date first (which is a little unsettling) before asking him to confirm it.

Called my assistant on main work line from overseas.  Claimed he "knew" me.  Obtained my number (another work/cell phone) and called me up when I was very busy acting like he has know me all his life.  Said his name was Jason, and basically TOLD me my name and d.o.b. as if he could not be wrong.  Violated all kinds of laws by not immediately stating he was a third party bill collector for student loans.  Tried to act like he was somehow connected to the Government when all he did was find a very common name on Google or somewhere and assume I was that person.  Had no proof, but was trying to get me to admit proof.  He called again the next day ON MY WORK CELL PHONE and again acted as if he were a life long friend wanting to help me!!!  What a joke, he does not even know me.  I informed him he has no proof I am who he thinks I am  or hopes I am so his low life scum self can try to earn some sort of commission by harassing people randomly all over the world.  Basically, I told him to stop calling my work cell phones and that my employer prohibited such calls.  Told him my only day off was Sunday and he balked, because EVERYONE knows how much trouble collectors can get in for calling you on that false god's "holy day", whom Jason probably worships religiously (but probably not to the extent of giving his 10% "tithe" of his 15% commissions he makes through lies and deception).  Now, if Jason or whoever he is wants to book an international flight and come find me face to face with demand letters and absolute proof that I am who he thinks I am, then I will probably still tell him to f*&^ off.  The only student loans I ever had WERE DISCHARGED by Chapter 7 Bankruptcy by a FEDERAL JUDGE back in 2003 BEFORE the Bankruptcy laws changed and made it next to impossible to get student loans dismissed in court.  Maybe someone should inform Jason of this fact before they set him loose as a despicable collector for a non-existent debt that was discharged and has been sold a million times to stupid unsuspecting third party agencies whom I had no legitimate  contract with in the first place!!!  That is assuming I were in fact the person he was looking for---which I am not admitting to.  Get a life, Jason.  Want my tax returns?  I don't have any.  Want to garnish?  There is nothing.  Want my humiliating social security that I will probably never return to the U.S. to draw after I retire in the next twenty years; and if I do, will be below the poverty level???

They are Windham Professionals and they call a lot. They call me two times within a minute of each other, plus they also call earlier in the day from another number (888) 415-8093. So three calls in one day, they must be getting frustrated since I will not talk to them, I don't talk to debt collectors. They are all liars and will lie and keep lying. Them them to put everything in writing.  They use skip tracers to find people to pay up, usually the amount this company wants is a couple of thousands up front before any type of payment plan. I am planning on blocking there number, so the next time they call the message " This number has been disconnected." There are a lot of complaints about this company and they have been sued in court. Just file a complaint with the FTC, and the Attorney General in your state and the state that they are located in. Also check if they are licensed to collect in your state.

received 2 calls from this number. First call was Nov 5 at 845 am. No message was left. The second call was Nov 7 at 957 am. Again, no message was left.  Why are they calling???
I called the number back -  it says 'Listen to this message in it's entirety. this is windham professionals. '   - I hung up after this.
