Man left a voice message and said he was from the IRS.  Said I had a tax fraud complaint and was liable for sever penalties. Told me to call back and ask for James Anderson.  IRS always notifies by mail.  Reported the name and number to IRS Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration (TIGTA) at www.treasury.gov/tigta/, and 800.366.4484

Got the same call. He said it was tax fraud, and that I had to call James Anderson at the above number. It was someone with a middle eastern accent - computer generated. First time I've ever been called by this number. If he calls again I will call Mr. Anderson (ha) and advise that I will be suing if they continue. Don't know of course if authorities/an attorney can find them.

I just received call also saying to call James Anderson for some type of fraud.  They're the fraud.

Same as the others. middle eastern accent regarding tax fraud from  James Anderson. I have to say I did lol @ the comment "if you o not call s back, I wish you luck" at least he was polite.

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.
