recd a call from this number. no vmail left.

yeah, they called my cell phone and i don't even know how they got the number.  they didn't leave a voicemail though.

They've called several times in the past few days. I called back and they seem to be a collection agency for about a dozen different car loan companies.  Since my number wasn't listed as a "primary number," the person I talked to said she couldn't take me off of any list.

I got a voice mail that said "yeah yeah what's up" and then hung up the phone. Where is 615 anyway?

I got this new cell phone a few months ago. It's one of those Pay As You Go phones.  This is the first "BS phone #" I've received on it, they called twice, but left no voicemail either time, and this cell # of mine is on the Do Not Call.gov list.  Also I have not owned a Ford since 1970 (would never buy another either, it was a total lemon... very bad "first impression" for a senior in high school, which I was at the time).  I do not have any debts with any car loan companies, either.

just now-9:21 am, same thing, listed as "tennessee". Picked up--no answer. We have a Ford. Wackers!

They called several times.  I have told them they have the wrong number and suprise suprise they have not stopped.  I think they must make bad loans and these people are not very bright.  They can't even figure out that they have the wrong number.  Maybe I will try to get a car loan from them.  That way when I go in default they will stop calling me and call some innocent victim trying to get money from them.  Since calling the wrong number is there speciality.

They called me three times recently todays call they claimed my neighbor gave them this number for a contact and asked if I know the neigbor. I do and we dont get a long.  So i keep demanding for them to tell me who they are it is a ford collection agancy.  They are trying to get any info on the neighbor because she is in default of her loan.

Yes it's Ford,  How did they get your number?
I got a letter from my home morgage company saying that a former employee sold all of my information to the highest bidder!!!! OOPPS our bad, was pretty much there way of handling it.
That may be how they keep getting unlisted numbers.

Attorney's Joan Myers and hubby James Porter (aka DUMB & DUMBER) have filed enough lawsuits to fill a courthouse. Unfortunately they apparently have had some problems doing it legally. She was suspended from practicing in federal bankruptcy court, he has trouble doing what she tells him. This super-slick duo should be viewed with extreme caution. They have a long record of contradictions and excuses that give bad lawyers a good name. They sometimes have a problem with the truth. NOTHING that they say should be taken as valid, contact me if you are unfortunate enough to have dealings with them.

Their latest list of organizations that hire them to collection work is Ford Motor Credit Company. FMCC must NOT be aware of how many organizations have DUMPED Myers & Porter because of their incompetence. It won't be long until Ford Credit is yet another name on the long list of Myers & Porters FORMER clients.

Massive Identity Fraud Alleged Bloomberg News
September 18 2004

A former employee of a company that helps banks and other businesses access consumer credit data stole credit histories of thousands of people in what may be the largest identity fraud ever, prosecutors said.

More than 30,000 people in the United States with credit data on file at Experian Corp., Equifax Inc. and TransUnion were victims of a three-year scheme by Philip Cummings, who worked on the help desk at Telecommunications Data Inc. and had access to client passwords, authorities said. The company can download consumer credit histories, prosecutors said.

Using access codes belonging to Ford Motor Co.'s credit arm, Cummings downloaded 15,000 credit reports, prosecutors said. Criminals who obtained the stolen credit reports used them to take out loans in the names of the victims, buy merchandise, deplete bank accounts and order credit cards, authorities said.

My Wife gets 10 calls a day and never pays her bills.

Sounds like someone else gave them a fake # which just happens to be mine. They have called me 10 times this week only. I get it on my palm pilot which I only use for emails. The couple of times I did answer they either hung up or one time they asked for someone elses name. If I could I would break the persons neck but I think I will f with them next time.

call up to ten times a day at all hours about "personal matter" have asked them not to call several times, do not listen.

Called me at 10:30 at night.  Woke us up.  Never answered.

Calling you after 9:00 p.m. is illegal. If they call again, file an online complaint with your state's Attorney General.

They called me this morning and left no message

They call all the time to remind me of my payment it get old, we are up to date back off.
