Ford Motor Credit Company calling to remind about a missed payment and make payment arrangements.

For several months now I, too, have been getting calls to my cell for this same #.  They more and more are leaving messages on my voicemail, which they didn't do in the beginning.  They are asking for Carl and Sharon Nelson.  It is Ford Motor Credit.  I got this cell in April from Sam's Club, and MY NAME ISN"T CARL NELSON!  And I put my # on the Gov's DO NOT CALL list when I got it.  These Ford goons are using up my "pay as I go" cell minutes when they leave msgs. in the voicemail, as I have to go in there and erase them.

I know I know I could just answer one day and tell them to buzz off, but from what I've read in other threads, when you try to do that, they will give you grief, scream, and/or who knows what else, and I'm just NEVER in the mood for dealing w/them.

On Jan 13, 2004 Joan Myers (Tx State Bar#14761600) 59, of Bedford, TX received a one year fully-probated suspension effective March 1, 2004.

Attorney's Joan Myers and hubby James Porter (aka DUMB & DUMBER) have filed enough lawsuits to fill a courthouse. Unfortunately they apparently have had some problems doing it legally. She was suspended from practicing in federal bankruptcy court, he has trouble doing what she tells him. This super-slick duo should be viewed with extreme caution. They have a long record of contradictions and excuses that give bad lawyers a good name. They sometimes have a problem with the truth. NOTHING that they say should be taken as valid, contact me if you are unfortunate enough to have dealings with them.

Their latest list of organizations that hire them to collection work is Ford Motor Credit Company. FMCC must NOT be aware of how many organizations have DUMPED Myers & Porter because of their incompetence. It won't be long until Ford Credit is yet another name on the long list of Myers & Porters FORMER clients.

Massive Identity Fraud Alleged Bloomberg News

A former employee of a company that helps banks and other businesses access consumer credit data stole credit histories of thousands of people in what may be the largest identity fraud ever, prosecutors said.

More than 30,000 people in the United States with credit data on file at Experian Corp., Equifax Inc. and TransUnion were victims of a three-year scheme by Philip Cummings, who worked on the help desk at Telecommunications Data Inc. and had access to client passwords, authorities said. The company can download consumer credit histories, prosecutors said.

Using access codes belonging to Ford Motor Co.'s credit arm, Cummings downloaded 15,000 credit reports, prosecutors said. Criminals who obtained the stolen credit reports used them to take out loans in the names of the victims, buy merchandise, deplete bank accounts and order credit cards, authorities said.

Calls from FMC for unknown reasons.  Party advised it is the auto dialer.  My car has been traded and paid off and there are no reasons for my being called by FMC.

i am on the do not call list, and this pissed me off that they can not even speak english, plus there is no contact information when they call this is [***] thanks ford. maybe you shuld have taken the money from our goverment and found someone that can conversate in our language.

Ford Motor Chief Executive Officer Alan Mulally said Wednesday the No. 2 U.S. automaker would be able to speed up the repayment of its debt as its financial results improve.

That being the case, how about you call off your [***] minimum-wage callers leaving four to six messages a day my machine since four days past the due date of the payment.  4 payments left on a 60 month loan and never late in the past.

Cash flow sucks for many people.  You know how bad the economy is.

These corporate predators are really starting to piss me off with the harassment of "you are obligated to pay" and you signed a contract.  The American consumer is doing the best they can, have some compassion and understanding you greedy pricks.
