I received a call this afternoon from the number  Caller ID Shows Macys.  I do not have any business with them nor did I try and contact them.  The person (which I could barely understand)  asked to speak to B xxxxxxxx  (my last name) I said 'NO ' then hung up the phone.  I don't know what they wanted or why they were calling.  But I felt like my privacy was being compromised, as he had no idea what the B stood for.

It's a scam from "Microsoft". Apparently, as a Windows registered user (I'm not) my computer was sending error messages to them. I am a Linux Admin and know that this was a scam. I let them log in to a VM and made sure I had the most disgusting porn playing for them on a Linux machine. They will not be calling me back soon I do believe.

I also got a call from "Macy's". What do they do or get with calling? They didn't even say anything!

Caller Id says Macys.  A Ray Till (with an Asian Indian accent) said that a home computer was sending them bad data via clicking on popup boxes.  I asked him for the IP address of the PC as we have more than one.  Couldn't/wouldn't tell me.  Multiple inquiries resulted in him telling me that he represented "PC Care Maintenance".  After telling him that I believe that since caller ID said Macys and he represented another company I thought this was a case of fraud.  He put me on hold and someone else came on the phone (also with a strong Asian Indian accent).  When I re-asserted that I thought this fraud, he hung up.

Caller ID says Macys Logistics. A guy with a heavy Indian accent said my computer is sending error messages. I acted dumb and said "I haven't been getting messages." I did this a couple of times with him, hee, hee, hee. Then he fially got what I was saying and said my computer is sending messages to them. "My computer is sending messages to you?" He says, "Yes." He said it was going to crash within 3 days and what they could do for me.....  I cut him off before he go any farther. I told him to find some other sucker. How aggravating!!!

Got a call from this number. Someone with a heavy accent said was calling regarding a problem with my computer.  WARNING!!! WARNING!!!!  This same scam got a hold of my computer two years ago and installed software that detects your keyboard for passwords.

I got a call from this number, and when I answered it showed Macy's on my caller ID, but no one was there.  I hung up.
