A person called claiming to be from AT&T with a special deal on our two phone lines. When asked if he could send any information, the caller simply said "Nope" and hug up.

received the same call stating he was from Birch that could save me money on my 3 phone lines with AT&T. The guy said I was on the corporate plan instead of small business. When I asked him for more detail and told him I was calling AT&T he hung up.

A person called and said he was from AT&T. He wanted someone who handled our phone lines. I asked if I could take his number and have someone call him back. He just hung up. I called the number back and it said it was 1 800 Lets Talk. Annoying!

"Anthony Amos" called from this number- caller ID said Birch Communications. He said Birch was a  phone provider and made it sound like they had some agreement with AT&T to take over our business service- he knew we had 3 lines and knew our approx. monthly bill and quoted me a much lower rate for us. It sounded like it was an automatic thing, that it was going to happen and he was just informing me of that fact. I asked if we would then be changing our carrier from AT&T to them, he said yes, that if we had a problem, we'd have a Birch comm. truck AND an AT&T truck out to fix it. I asked why would offer me such a better deal for no reason, he said they lease lines from AT&T so they can offer them at a lower rate (HUH?). I asked would have to make some kind of agreement with them for it to happen and he said yes. He started in on "updating" our information, I asked for contact info so I could think about it and call him back and he hung up on me.

can not call this number back, tells you that ur phone has been limited...

a lady asking to speak to the person who handles our AT&T account.  Caller ID said Birch.  So i told her they arent available. Knew it was some kind of scam or some sort.
