Called rang 2 times hung up

rang two times and they hung up. no message. 2nd time they called in a month. Says from hartsville area on reverse phone lookup.

I went to bed at 9 p.m. on November 7th and when I woke up at 4 a.m. on November 8th I noticed a missed call. When I checked it the call came in at 10:07 p.m. on November 7th.  I filed a complaint with the FCC Do Not Call Registry as they are violating the law on many counts as follows: (1) Calling after 8 p.m. is violation of the law...(2) Improper caller ID is violating the law...(3) Calling back the number doesn't work.  Hopefully the FCC will find out what's going on and shut them down. Later today I'm going to call the Police Department in or near Hartsville, Tennessee and ask them to track down these morons. I don't understand why people have to be morons, jerks, fools, and bother people like us. If they want a fight I can sure give them one.

Andy,  your caller is spoofing the number.  The complaint filed with the DNC went into file 13.  There is nothing they can do with hang-ups from a spoofed number with no valid identification.   Also,  the Federally mandated calling times are from  8am-9pm local times.  Improper caller ID depends on who the caller is.  There are exemptions to this.  Law enforcement is one and there are others......google it and read em.   The FCCs and no one else is going on a witch hunt over a hang up call.  The Police Department will tell you exactly what I am telling you.....They have nothing to work with....."A hang-up" with a Spoofed number.
I agree that there are a huge amount or morons and read jerks like these.   I absolutely Rue each and everyone of them and wish I could line them up and give them a good beating with a cane stick.  Instead of getting very upset on these types of people (aka Jerks)   and their abuse of everyone,    dwell on the fact that there are many many more good quality folks out there that will long out live the bad.

Call that 930 rang twice hung up.

Called the number back and it was some sort of marketing ploy with an automated message.  They said I recently visited one of their member websites and they have $100 gift card. I didn't listen to the rest and hung up
