I got a person on the other end and they are a billing (not collections) company. Mine was about a hospital bill a couple weeks late. Very friendly and helpful person I was dealing with.

receive calls w/ no message, very annoying, if a collection agency, isnt this illegal? or at least unethical!?

They called from 866 238-2115 and gave me a Spanish name (not my name) and a case number. The collection woman's name was "Cassie." I called and was given the same information as you people and I asked for a supervisor. The woman who answers the phone, with clearly no speaking or personality skills, then hung up on me after stating that the "supervisor was not here and you need to call back in one hour!" I have received these phone calls over and over and it takes from my long distance minutes. I am not the person they need. Somehow, they are using my number. They called themselves a "Central Business Office" and the moron could not elaborate beyond the cue card she was reading from. I asked "what business are you" and she stated...from her card..."that we are over 100 businesses and I need to give them the name of the company."  Funny, moron, I was never given the name of a company! Pure idiots if you don't owe money and I will file with the FCC ASAP.

the caller told they had a message and to call another number. at the time i could write down the info. not sure what they want.

keep on calling and I keep ignoring

message "we have an important message, call 1-800.....

I get calls from that number every now and then, they never identify themselves, its normally a recorded message saying i should call them back at another number they provided on the recording. I called that once and I got a message saying number not in service.

They called a few minutes ago, I got a hello on the other end but then the person's signal cut off and I lost the call.

So out of curiosity I googled the number to see who these people are and found this page.

If they want to talk to me they're going to need to be more procative in trying to reach me, like telling me who they are and what they want.

I see alot of stuff on this page about our mystery caller being a collection agnecy if thats the case they're dropping their bucket down the wrong well cause I don't owe any debts.

They keep calling but do not leave a message. I have no idea who it's from.

periodic calls from this number. Always ask for Conchita something or other. They don't seem to believe us when we tell them she does not live here. also many hangups before we even get to the phone. Very annoying and inconvenient at times.
