Unknown phone number.

Unknown Phone Number at 6:30am PDT

I got this phone call as well leaving a message that it was extremely urgent I'd call back. Kinda got me nervous, but they dont even say weer its from or what company. A little strange.

C and A media is a cival suit group that is trying to harrass people in to
some scam thats all i can find out so far they ask for a file number and will not tell u much without one

Rec'd this call in early AM on my cell phone, she threatened to report me to IRS for unclaimed income due very old unpaid credit cards. Had all of my credit history, very pushy and threatening. When I said that she must be from a collection agency she replied "No, we're a mediation company that just wants to help people settle their debts". She undoubtly is a big liar. I think the call originated from TN.

They left an 877 number to call back 877-289-4690 and I called it back - they were calling for someone not even in my home and had somehow gotten my unlisted phone number.  I called them back to tell them that they had the wrong number and to remove my number from any database that they had it in and the man was VERY RUDE and YELLING at me on the phone.  I ended up hanging up on him because he was yelling at me asking me what more I wanted from them.  He got made when I repeatedly asked him for his company name - he finally told me CR and Associates.......BEWARE OF THESE PEOPLE!!!

Had two phone messages, looking for someone of a similar name to a relative of mine.  I called them back the second time, since they at least had pronounced it correctly this time, and gave a middle initial and age.  The callerid was 1-615-469-5268 and the callback number was 877-289-4690, plus an extension.  The message was from one Sarah Danvers, "handling an urgent situation out of" a city in one state, wanting a statement on the person's behalf regarding it.  When I called, the receptionist asked for a "case number" and I gave the "extension".  The woman that then picked up could have been the same one that left the message, but I can't be sure.  She said she needed a statement from the person by 6pm tomorrow about the matter they were handling out of <a DIFFERENT state this time>.  So it seems they can't even keep their story straight.  Although, both states mentioned had relevancy to the relative, so I expect that helps add "believability" to the story.  She said she had already had one person call in from <my relative's area code> but didn't understand why they wouldn't talk to her.  I spoke to my relative, who said this Sarah person had called several other of our relatives, and had even called them directly, so they clearly had the right number, but when asked what it was Sarah wanted, she wouldn't tell them anything.

So, similar story to the others, but they did appear to act reasonably polite; there was no yelling or anything like I've seen in the 877-320-5615 notes.
