Like the poster above, received a text at 7:34pm: "The neext time you pass me by, I am going to tap it." I responded asking who it was since I thought it might be someone creepy I know and they sent me half-naked photos. -_-

creepy, telling me that im sexy and trying to hook up she said her name was an adre4na and audrii and said that she had seen photos of me and thought i was hot so i looked up all social stuff and she is not following me so i dont know where she got the pic or if she is just crazy. she also said she was shy and was looking for new friends. and also said she was 24.

I got this one at 5:56 a.m. on Aug. 1st. "Your body's name must be visa, because it's evverrywwheere I want to be., reply back"

Most texts can be blocked so if you have the capability to do so, block them. Also forward any texts to 7726 or check your cell phone carrier for the correct number (from what I have heard, there may be one or two carriers who use a different number to forward spam texts).

Don't respond, it only encourages them and also they may possibly pass your number onto others.

Be aware and be cautious.

For a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number. For tracfone & straight talk:

For text messages: forwarding any text message spam you get to the short code  “7726,” which spells “spam” on most phones, to alert your network operator to the abuse. ATT won't accept 7726 But they will accept BLOCK and return a message that the web site is blocked. forward the texts to 7726 or BLOCK, depending on your phone carrier.
