Why do they call other counties looking for money?

Money is money. It  makes no difference from which tree it is plucked.

i just got a call from them and it was the company i wrote below.  its legit he gave me the website i was weary at first but
after digging it was nice to get a call from a REAL local person instead of dacabaca babajihad in india asking about a loan...  theyre hosting a benefit concert and basically you get tickets if you donate..  id rather do that than just give money away.. regardless of how much they keep..  which is around 50 percent..(very high as far as fundraising goes)  ((more than 3 times what united way and salvation army take away))
i didnt cause im broke and 25 but if i could i would.  again thank god the dude was local he even gave me his address which i drove by cause im in hermitage ..  its in donelson by shipleys..  again confirmed it was legit

So he gave you the web site and your became tired?  Who told you they get 50%?  The telemarketer?  Because they generally only send out 10%.  He gave you an address that he could have looked up, and you drove by it, but does that prove that he lives there?

If it is Murfreesboro FD, why are they calling my me in Maury Co???

BTW: It's a FAX MACHINE that they keep calling over and over and over!!!!!
