this number is calling family members saying i will be arrested for fraud if i dont call back. i called numerous times and get a voice mail, never getting a call back! who is this?????

My family members are receiving the same calls for me. I call the BBB and the Attorney General's office its a scam. Don't call back.

I get phone calls at work saying I am being investigated for fraud and being charged with felonies if I don't resolve this and pay them. Who is this??? I recently filed bankruptcy, so I know I don't owe anybody anything and my lawyer said not to give them anything and that this is a scam. They get your info from online and try to scam/scare you into paying them!

I received a call from this number, 615-530-4150, His name Ed Jacobs, who says he is with the Federal Fraud Investigation Agency, and he is attempting to get a hold of me.  By the posts listed below, it is a scam.

I keep getting these saying fraud investigation of bad checks calls and I have no such debt.  They say they will arrest me if I don't pay.  I filed a complaint with the attorney general's office today.  Do not fall for this scam!

Someone from this number calls everyday several times a day without ever leaving a message. I work
nights and it is difficult sleep with the phone ringing frequently. Also, they don't leave a message but stay on the
line so that the tape on the answering machine runs out quickly and frequently. Is there a way to block this call?

These people are calling my home as well as my family members stating that they are going to arrest me, when I called and asked about the company the guy stated that he could not tell me without identifying myself and hung up in my face. He left a fraudulent case number on a answering machine which is against the law especially when the tel # that they called has a different last name than mine. I am assuming this as a scam.

This is a criminal extortion ring operating out of India. ABC News released an investigative report on it in June. The FTC has indicted one of its ringleaders for criminal fraud:
