- Tina| 26 repliesUnknown call.
- Jason| 9 repliesMy fiance recently registered at David's bridal and recieved a call from this number about some kind of "free trip" to the Bahamas or the carribean for 3 days. We're supposed to go to some kind of "free bridal registry show," which I am pretty convinced is some kind of sales pitch or scam. I called and left a message with my phone number, but they haven't called me back. I've heard (from this website) that David's Bridal gives out your contact info to third party organizations, which are sometimes scammers in disguise. Did you by chance register with David's Bridal and do you know anything about this "free trip"?

- Meg replies to Tina| 15 repliesI too got the whole "Bridal package" blah blah... apparently from a bridal show? I learned after the first bridal show to have a fake phone number and a ready made e-mail address for the sales pitches that bombard your e-mail account.
- CRN replies to JasonI received a phone call saying that either I had registered, my family member or my fiance had registered for me online for their sweepstakes. And that I had won champagne flukes and a free honeymoon for 3 days and 2 nights, that all we have to do is go to their bridal show on either fri sat or sun to listen to an hour talk about cookware and then we walk away with the free wedding package. I have looked up the number that called me and the number she gave me to call and found lots of info about how this is a huge scam that has been going on for years! And that YES DAVIDS BRIDAL GIVES OUT BRIDES' CONTACT INFORMATION TO SCAMMING COMPANIES!!! I'm sooo frustrated!! They are not getting my business or any of my bridesmaids business now!!
- A| 4 repliesI have been receiving NUMEROUS calls from Christy at this number. The number they gave me to return calls to is 1-615-832-2387, when I told her it sounded too good to be true... that I had won 2 toasting goblets and a free 3 day honeymoon/all inclusive... she said nothing. I told her I could not find any information on their company and she asked if I had gone to the website. The first website she gave was wrong but the second one is www.wyndham.com. I noticed there was NOTHING about the bridal registry show, so I asked her what THAT website was and she told me that was their website. I told her I was skeptical and asked her if there way anyway to verify they are a legitimate company. She was getting frustrated and asked me how she was suppose to prove anything.... I told her I would call her back. Upon typing the phone number into the yellowpages.com, THERE IS NO COMPANY LISTED UNDER THAT NUMBER!!!!!
The only way to get companies to stop give out people's information after asking then not to, is for the person's involved to contact the Better Business Bureau.- Caller: Bridal Registry Show

- MegSame thing happened to me.. and it must have been David's Bridal also. This time the girl's name was Mindy and she said that my fiance and I had be selected to win the bridal package. They were located in Nashville, TN. She said they would be coming to my area, Jackson MS.. Its nice to know that sites like this can help us clarify these menacing phone calls!
- ssteph replies to A| 2 repliesThey did the same thing to me! I almost went-I'm glad I didn't fall for it!!! You're positive its a scam?
- sam| 1 replyI received the same call from this number (615)577 0932 and a representative claiming to be Mindy as well and from a company by the name of "ROYAL PRESTIGE".. stating my fiance and I had won 2 trips (2 nights/ 3 days) both islands of our choice & our information had been retrieved from David's Bridal registry. One trip was to be taken the week after our wedding and the other trip we'd have the next 2 years to take (a date of our choice).. We scheduled an appointment on a Saturday and went to the "cookwear seminar" .. We were told they'd only take approximately an hour and a half of our time and we would walk away with the vacation packages (no purchase required).. We went to the seminar and purchased nothing and walked out with nothing.

- DBChristy from this # called today, she actually said that someone registered my and my fiance for a free bridal package, when now I know my number was given out by David's Bridal. Not only is this a scam on both their parts, but the girl was dishonest. DONT BUY IT!!
- Sara| 2 repliesI was called by 1-615-832-2387 and I too registered at David's Bridal. She told me I could check out the company with the Better Business Bureau using the company name: Bridal Registry Show. They said they were based out of Nashville, TN and that their zip code was 37211. The website she gave me to look at the different vacations is: www.vizawyndhamresorts.com. I wanted to check it out (as I randomly win drawings I enter) to see if it was real; a 10 day all-inclusive vacation sounds too good to be true. They want my fiancee and I, who is now my husband (I guess they waited too long to call), to come to a show at the Holiday Inn Express in the city I live in to collect my package. I haven't checked them out with the BBB, but I will let you know what I find out.

- Sara replies to SaraThere is no business listed with the Better Business Bureau in Nashville, TN (where the person I spoke to) told me they were. I searched by phone number and the search came up with Royal Prestige. Royal Prestige is a cookware company. I have looked at other sites and they also mention a scam with Royal Prestige.
- Amber replies to sstephi have been doing a lot of research on this because i wanted to know if it was a scam, however i found several sites where people have gone and actually gotten the trips..so i think it's worth it to go and find out for yourself.
- SamanthaI got a phone call from (615)577.0931 I was told that my fiance and I had won champagne toasting flutes as well as a honey moon trip. We would need to attend their one hour cookware demo then we would recieve our prizes. I'm not sure what the deal is with this place.
- Amanda replies to Tina| 8 repliesI too got at call from this number, the lady I talked to said that we won 2 beautiful toasting glasses, 2 more free gifts, and a honeymoon package...I also was asking to come to their bridal show this Saturday at 11 or 4....It's a total scam. I was kinda excited at first but then I figured it was total BS.
- Kelly| 2 repliesI received a call from this number stating that I won 2 honeymoon trips one to the Bahamas and another to any place of my choice from a David's Bridal contest and that I had to report to a local hotel to get the package information, after doing reseach on the internet I have found out that this is a SCAM!!!!

- Mrs. Hardin replies to JasonI bought my wedding dress at David's at the end of May and just tonite got a call from "Leslie" from the "Bridal Registry Show" saying that I had been selected for free wedding gifts and to call her back at her office...I got online to check them out and found all these message boards saying that they are a scam! That is about all I know to help you out! I am not going to call them back! I have yet to find a legit website or anything assoicated with them! ALWAYS do your research before you fall for anything that sounds too good to be true!!!
- Devon replies to Meg| 14 repliesSo I got the same call from the same number that most of y'all mentioned, she left a message, name was Charis or something like that. I figured it was something silly when they left the message so i just got around to calling them back 4 days later. They told me I just missed the Raleigh show, but they'd be back in town in 6 weeks or so and she told me all about the wine glasses and vacations too. I asked if there would be any BS involved in going to the show and if I had actually already won this. She said yeah you just have to come. I asked if they had any kind of email confirmations for the packages that they could send, she said no this is just a call center. I was pretty sure it was a scam at this point and immediately came back from lunch to google "the bridal registry show" to see if there a real business and instead I find these posts. Thanks for sharing everybody, luckily I hadn't gotten my hopes up. I can't wait until they call me back so I can tell them how I feel about wasting my time.
- SummerI received a call from Dee Dee @ Bridal Registry today at my WORK!! I am registered at David's Bridal and I requested that they not release my info to third party members but obviously they did it anyway. I learned a LONG time ago that anything that sounds too good to be true....IS!! I just let her go through her spill and gave her a fake second number, said thank you and hung up. DON'T FALL FOR THEIR BULL!!!

- Ashley| 1 replyI received a call from this number and I don't know why everyone else had such a negative reaction or couldn't find info....THIS IS NOT A SCAM! If you got to centralalabama.bbb.org, and type in the phone number in the search box, the business comes up as Royal Prestige (the same thing as the Southern Bridal Registry). Their is a webste listed and everything. I went to the show, heard a presentation about cookware, didn't have to purchase anything, and got my vouchers for 2 free vacations and the champagne glasses are in the mail. The only thing I suggest is to have a fake e-mail account already set up before the show, because you will get alot of e-mails from them for new promotions. It is GREAT opportunity you shouldn't miss!!!
