    Rec'd card in the mail notifying that they were trying to reach us to deliver an important package and to call number listed  to arrange delivery.  Since I'm not expecting any pkg, I was suspicious.  I googled company DMS Services out of Deltona, FL...Turns out this is a SCAM.  They will deliver a box of laundry detergent and then want to test your water in order to sell you a water filtration system.  It is happening to new home owners.  The get info from public records. They have used the following phone numbers...888-959-3866 and also 866-209-2989

    Glad I checked here first. Got a postcard in the mail about trying to deliver a package. It had a tracking number (alleged). The card is not from USPS or FedEx or UPS so I knew it was a scam. Didn't bother calling the number on the postcard.
