They call anywhere from 2-10 times a day. It's a tennessee number. The only thing I can think of is I've been searching for health insurance on the internet and this may be an insurance company trying to get my business. Not sure though, really annoying.

I too have been searching for health insurance as well.  I have returned their call once, and it went directly to someone's VM.  Even his message was cut off on his VM so I couldn't even tell who the business was that I was calling.  This all seems very fishy.

United Sales, a health insurance company, keeps calling me numerous times a day.  When I pick up the phone to tell them to stop calling, there is no one there.  It is AGAINST THE LAW for them to call me once, let alone up to five to ten times a day.

"United Sales" is the name I managed to get out of the guy I got when I called the number back.  I had no voice mail from them when they called, and have no business with them so no idea how they have my number to call in the first place.

- They are out of TN.
- The caller ID only reads (615) 686-2884.
- They are not leaving voice mails (on my line at least-so far).
- On calling the number back, their intro message says "UNITED BENEFITS OF AMERICA" and the sales rep that then takes the call answers thanking you for calling "UNITED SALES".
- When asked how they get the numbers they call, they state the owner of the number must have RECENTLY performed an online search for health coverage. I did such a search MORE than a year ago and have since had calls from too many of these groups to count. Apparently, my phone number, which I entered back then, through what appeared to be a single company site, for a call back or email regarding available single pay coverage options, was actually farmed out to any health coverage sales group that will take it, and will be forever more going forward - so that even if you(I) tell one group to stop calling, that you're(I'm) no longer searching for coverage....you simply stop getting calls from that one sales group (if you're lucky)....but other calls continue - and if you simply change your number, the next owner will receive the same calls - apparently an easily overlooked abuse of the Do Not Call List (without knowing my search had been over a year ago, the rep told me that if I hadn't done any RECENT search, that someone else must've used my number (thereby allowing them to call ME back - forever and ever more).

-I've now learned the hard way, never, ever enter a phone number online for a call back with info from any company - if they're reputable, they'll provide a toll free number to call them, and then offer you info prior to requesting even a phone number from you.

I just got the same message, and I had inquired about insurance also, the begining of the message chopped off and that same 800 #.

Just received a call from this number.  I answered but nobody on the other end.  I waited for 20 seconds before hanging up.  While typing this they called again and same thing.

automated messages on my phone about a health insurance company and a problem with my preexisting condition. I do not have health insurance here so this is absolute made up. I was searching online for coverage over a year ago. They must have violated privacy law and passed on my info. I am on the do not call list, but that didn't help.

I also been recieving messages from this number too. so far they have been calling me two times a day and they always leave me with a message with no name just a 1-800 number to call them back. Why should anyone call them if they don't have the time to leave a name with their number to call them back to. Untill now i thought it was a bill collector trying get me to pay my debt. I also fill out some imforamtion for health insurance quote online and I was dumb enough to leave them with my cell phone #.
