haha, i got a call today from that number for a friend of mine... and the guy calling said he was Mr. Roberts

Yup, I got a call from that same Mr Roberts, and found out that it is a legit call from ACSI (College Assist)about your student loans.  Roberts is from the Wage Garnishment unit and means business, but if you call him, he will work with you to repay your student loans so garnishment does not happen.

Bankruptcy stops the calls too. Tell him food and family come first.
In todays economy everyone is out of work, wages are cut. We must provide food to our family. If an anal bill collector that only recieves commission when he gets you to pay, will call you, your work, your friends, locates your numbers online, social networking. He is a cockroach that just wont go away. But Bankruptcy will stop him dead in his tracks. Get an attourny involved and squash this cockroach.

Is a number from ACSI, a collection company dealing with defaulted student loans. Mr. Roberts ( a racist red neck who has a nasty attitude) is a loan repayment counselor. The truth is that if you do have a student loan and this people are calling you, they have you by the testicles! They can and will garnish your wages until the loans are paid in full! Answer the phone and ask what is it that they want from you. I had my work hours cut and these scum still garnished my wages. Now, after they take tehir cut every payday, I dont have enough to pay my basic living expenses (rent, electricity, food etc)This people are evil and the law protects them because they are collecting on STUDENT LOANS!

Bankruptcy no longer covers student loans. You have to prove undo hardship in order for a bankruptcy to forgive student loans and that is now extremely difficult to do.

Mr Roberts from ACSI called me this afternoon regarding an outstanding student loan for another person with my name.  He was very nice and told me he'd remove me from the collection activity but wouldn't give me any further info regarding the call.

I got the call from mr. Roberts last year and he has been very helpful working with me to get my student loan paid off ASAP. I was young and didn't realize what I was signing was a student loan. Even though it has been hard and can leave me with a much smaller paycheck I'm almost done paying it and I'm glad I started making payments before they started garnishing my wages.
