scary man, don't know who he is and calls my work

this guy is really weird. he called my phone asking me all sorts of questions about an old debt i had. he said he was trying to collect that debt but the questions he asked me were just too weird. he wanted to know if i had seen my credit lately, where i worked, what my boyfriends name was and all other sorts of questions. it was just very creepy dont give him any information!

Left a message on my phone in a very serious almost confrontational tone of voice asking for me.  Said he was wish a company called "RDAC" in Nashville (which doesn't exist) and went by the name "Mr. Loman" (must be an Arthur Miller fan) and was saying he needed to get a hold of me on a "very important  business matter".  Now that I've read y'all's posts I definitely won't be calling back.

I'm floored. I got the same message that Moi did.. I googled RDAC, there's no such company. No way I'm callingh im back.. I'm kinda confused to how he got my business phone number..

Praises to caller-ID! I always screen my calls and this guy is a prime example of why. I fully agree, this guy is creepy! The same "Mr. Loman" asking for me under my maiden name (which I haven't used in 3 years) saying we have a "situation" that I may be able to "shed some light on". Pfft!

Just got a call from a "Melony" from RDAC ("rent debt automated collections," she said it stands for), asking about my brother. I asked her if it was legal to be bothering me or him and she said, imperiously: "It certainly is legal."

She then asked for a number to reach him. I said: "I would never give you any number," and hung up.

Just figured out she got my number from my resume posted on Monster, and took it down; so make sure you don't have your phone number in such an easily searchable public database!

"This message is for ********* this is Courtney with RDAC I need you to call me immediately. You have personal business in my office. We need to get this cleared up immediately. Call me back at 615-690-1674." Very confrontational tone. I called back, EXTREMELY RUDE.  I did not get any information as to what "personal" business they may have with me, but I did get the address.

Tim Davis called stating that he was trying to reach my son and daughter in law regarding an important situation that needed to be resolved as soon as possible before it esculated to a more serious situation.  I asked who he was with and he said that he could only legally tell me that he was with RDAC Nashville.  I told him that the name didn't mean anything to me and he said it stood for Rent Debt Automated Collections.  I was not asked for any information only that I give them his number, name and reference number.  Now that I read these postings, he didn't know what the relationship was between me and them as he used their names and asked if I could get a message to them.  If he calls me again, I will tell him to not dial my number again.

I received a call from Tim Davis today. EXTREMELY RUDE and ARROGANT...a waste of human space!

this man (john Lowman)  called my husbands job asking for him and asking personal information about him. so i called that man he was like whats your name i told him what for he sad he had to talk to my husband regarding a debt problem and that he was from some weid company in tennesse. this man was very rude and aggressive. this man is pyscho.

Mr. Loman also called - looking for our daughter.  Very nice of course, from Tenn.  Blah, blah, blah.  Knowing my daughter, we did not answer, but did listen to the message and googled the number.  Just wanted to update the message.

my dad in AL called me today i'm in KY saying he had a message from this guy saying he needed any info he could get on me and to call him back.  How does he get our numbers and what the heck is up with him he sounds really forceful and scared my mom.

i did some research and it is a rent debt place that collectrs if you have moved or stopped living somewhere and not paid all your rent or left without fulfilling your rent obligations.  Which it doesnt relate to me so i have no idea...also seeing as how i have an apt with a friend and my name not on lease, and my parents just recently had their number changed.

I got a messege saying i had personal business information..if it was about rent being unpaid..why wouldn't the apartment complex contact me?! will not call back...

Thsi company is registered in MN and apparently was incorporated in GA.

Check your Secretary of State office for business name and type of business info==find out who in your state, city, county issues a license for doing collection of monies type of business, contact the Federal Trade Commission, FILE COMPLAINTS WITH ALL AGENCIES.  CONTACT YOUR STATE ATTORNEY GENERAL OFFICE    TAPE RECORD THESE PHONE CALL AND TYPE UP THE RECORDING AS ONLY PRINTED MATERIAL IS ACCEPTED IN COURTS UNDER RULES OF EVIDENCE.

My call was to my brother in Ga and we are in AL, it was from a Lynn from RDAC with the same type of wanting to know information questions the # I was called from was 615-690-1687

OHHHHH this is a valid company it is a collection agency they have a location in addison texas, Nashville Tn, etc... There have been many complaints against ther personel they have working there especially Jake Johnson. His supervisors name is Ken Smith his number is 866 376 7834.
I personally called the location in addison texas and the rep there seemed very cooperative all the way around.

A lady named mary bell called me asking for Amy Jo who is my best friend of 15 years. I said this is her friend, thinking maybe it was a reference call for something on Amy Jo's behalf. The lady stumbled with her wording saying she had been deal with my friends husband and this is the number she has for her. I asked if I could take a message and the Mary Beth lady said tell her Mary Bell from RDAC from Nashville but would not say what it was about.

I looked up RDAC and found this site. It is weird cause my mom was also getting harrasing calls from a guy for like a week 6 to 8 times a day. He was confrontational and RUDE. It scared her so bad! She is not easily scared.
