Female called my place of employment 3 times in a row today (even after informing her my job does not allow these phone calls), does not identify herself or her business. She then tells me that they are sending one of their officers over to arrest me for check fraud. I asked her where she's calling from & doesn't answer me, just stays on the phone quiet; then I asked her if they sent a letter to my home & again no answer. I told her I will be suing them, she asked for what, & I told her for harassment and for false threats...she then hung up on me & (didn't call back at least for today!.) It's another scam people, don't believe the hype, do not send them anything if you ever do get information of their physical address. After researching, it's a cell phone & located in Nashville, TN. Clearly they don't know the laws in other states as they are violating ones rights! I'm pretty sure they bought off some really old payday loans from businesses that are no longer in business. I called this # back later today & only voicemail which doesn't state this Barbara's last name...as if she mumbles the last name. As soon as I get a business address, the FTC will be getting a complaint & if I have to, suing these scumbags as well. So frustrating!

I had the same exact BS happen to me today. They called a family member who I had listed as REFERENCE and they threatened to sue THEM for an amount that was three times what the payoff debt was when I payed it off!!! I called and got the runaround and when I finally did speak to the lady who called she was just as rude and ignorant. If you paid your debt then you have nothing to worry about. IT'S PAID!!! I would like to find out more on this agency because they are crossing some serious lines and business practices.

Got the same BS call today threatening to arrest someone for fraud! Before calling and making threats they should have all the facts together.  Just a company that brought a really old payday loan and swear that they are scarring you.  If i ever get the address of the business I will be lodging a formal complaint.

The same [***] happen to me Monday. I was told the same thing that if i dont do anything that i will also be pick up..what the hell is wrong with these people

The name that is given is suppose to be NFIA. They called with threats of issuing a warrant for my arrest for a payday loan from 2006. The person I spoke with was Investigator Richard/Robert Smith then a lady named Allison Ellis got on the phone. Both had two different stories of whatever this situation is...

Just to give all of you an update...they got a hold of my boss last month & I explained to her that this is a bogus company scaring people into paying them money that is no longer owed, etc etc.  This "Barbara" lady gave her a phone # to call back but no address. I called this "Barbara" back & left them a voicemail stating "Please call me back @ my cell # (left my #) & provide me w/ your business address as I'm going to file a complaint w/ the FTC & follow through w/ a lawsuit if the harassment continues...."

As of today, my boss nor myself have received any return calls.  So my suggestion to all of you is to do the same.

(They are a bogus company as they are not w/ the BBB & are not a legal/attorney firm either, so please do not be afraid to deal w/ these scumbags as they are all talk....)

& I do recommend to keep any contact logs, save voicemails, & names....
