The caller ID says "Public Safety" but its really a telemarketing company out of nashville Tn who claim to collect for breast cancer, Curiously enough you can call this number back and reach a random telemarketer.CROOKS big time

These folks have called me many times buggin me for money for disabled veterans but when my wife answers they say its for breast cancer research. I called the number back and spoke to the "owner" named jennifer and she refused to talk to me and hung up in my face.Unfortunately they still call me twice a week or better. Great chance to call and bug a telemarketer for a change.

Yes I can tell you first hand that this copmany, if that's what you wanna call it, is a SCAM!! if you donate money to any of the 10 or more so called organizations they are keeping 93% of it!!! I worked there and it a horrible business and needs to be shut down. the sad thing is they have been in business for 25 years and it is a father and daughter who own it. they are rude to their employees and fire you on the spot if you do not collect enough money for them each day. and on top of that they are making a 93% profit off of each donation and only want to pay their employees minnimum wage, give me a break!!

Yes Jennifer is extremely rude! She is rude to everyone excepy when she is verifying a donation over the phone because she and her father own it and they pocket 93% of each donation. So to answer your blog, it is a scam.

You know, the pay and the proffit margin is rediculous. But eve at 10 or 7 percent, I bet the breast cancer or disable children appreciate even that small amoun which turns out to be thousands of dollars. I'm not out raising any money for them and neitha or a lot of others. Yes tellemarketing is isanely irritating. But hears the key, don't like it don't be bothered with it. If u dnt want them to call u MUST ASK FOR A SUPERVISOR or they CONTINUE to call u back!!!

But u you know what I think is funny... The minimum donation is 15 dollars. If u wanted to donate 5 they wouldn't accept it. That's ungrateful. A donation is a donation

Jennifer is the rudest most stuck up money hungry person i have ever met....i worked there several times and she fired me one day because the night manager sent me home due to vomiting and she was like you couldnt have been that sick.....when they hire you you have and hour to make a certain amout of money or you dont get the job.....its a total scam....she walks around with her kids at work and dictates to everyone...they are always changing there hours on their employees and if they dont like you they can set it up to where you dont make donations so they can fire you......

How do you get these people to stop calling.  No they hang up when I answer the phone.

This is to inform people that fundraisers don't give 100 of their proffits to who their raising money for,all of them keep most the money. Look in to all of them not just this one,your going to be real upset at your findings.

I have worked for this company for over 20 years and they don't fire people who don't get sales on just one day, they fire people who just cant sell. THE OWNERS ARE NOT ANY MORE MONEY HUNGRY THAN ANY BUSINESS OWNERS. IT IS SAD THAT FORMER EMPLOYEES WHO ARE BITTER ABOUT BEING LET GO FEEL THE NEED TO VENT THEIR FRUSTRATIONS PUBLICLY.

While telemarketing is a nuisance to many people, the company itself has paid their employees and stayed in business for a long time because they are a stand up business. And for everyone else's info on this site, most people who speak badly about the management wouldn't work out at any job either because they miss frequently or have little to no work ethic!

I know for a fact some of the groups they call for get between 20 and 30% and no group gets less than 10%... so where do you get 93% from??????

Your/this statement is so true...if they do not like you...they will fix it so you do not make the quota of calls and fire you. I have seen it first hand! And I have had my dealings with Jennifer and she is a miserable person inside her skin..she is no one special. There is only one GOD and it is not her!!  They do not even pay you the "bonus"..I should know. They only pay out 1% to the companies that contract them for the "fundraisers".

I have repeatedly asked them to stop calling me, and they just won't stop.

Tommorrow will be my first day working there. I am a Christian and by no means do I agree with scams. I have a felony record because of my past,  this job was available and I need the income. I do know that money goes to the charities even if not all of it does.

Not all telemarketers are out to get you. Be careful

Hey, I worked at public safety. If, you can't make a connection with the donner within 15 seconds.....you will get hung up on! Then, your numbers will suffer. If, you can't get pledges you simply can't do the job and should find a job you can handle.  Is it a scam? Of course not ! Tough Job? Absolutely! With in room politics mostly due to a jealous sh-t for brains so called superviser who could put you in the bottom of the bucket because last week you made more money than he did! My wife and I both worked there and at the end of the day its a job.  Hey, Leon!  George! Get it done!!! Ya'll think they will hire me again?I need a job!
