mahka - 10 Apr 2008This seemed to be the simplest, most straight-forward solution. After about a week of ignoring the daily calls, I had tried to answer the call, but there was no response. I tried calling the number back, but just got a recording indicating that they were just calling to do a survey and that they would probably call back again, however, there was no option to leave them a message. So I called this number for Leigh Ann Hornbuckle (615-886-5401) and she personally answered right away. I asked her to take my number off of their list and she replied that she would, and that was that....no questions asked! Thanks!! You "the man"!

Annoyed in Mass - 19 Apr 2008We shouldn't have to call THEM to be taken off THEIR list! That is really not the quick and easy solution. That solution would be large penalties for making unwanted calls!

last weekend. Missed the call, but thankgoodness for this
message board. Now I know that it was simply some Cingular-ATT
contracted call center attempting to find out why I left.

Called them back... - 18 Feb 2008They are a telemarketing research company out of Tennessee, according to their answering message. If you see them calling again, answer it and tell them not to call you back and take your number off their list

615 886-7224 - 4 Jul 2008I've received four calls over the last 2 days from this number. Caller ID said "Flake-Wilkerson". Caller left no messages. I am still an active customer with Cingular/ATT, so I'm not sure why they would want to survey me...

A T & T cell owner - 30 Sep 2008I got the same call tonight from 615-886-7224. A man saying he wanted to talk to me about my call a few days ago to AT&T. He told me conversation would be recorded! I told him it was not me that called it was my husband and he said ok and hung up!
I then called AT&T and talked to there customer service department and they told me that it was not them. There were no notes to show a follow up call was made or that a survey was conducted on any of my phone numbers. I am wondering if this is like that bank one thing where they said I had said yes to there billing me for insurance and I never even heard of them! Could this be that kind of thing? If someone can track down this please post it! I am very concerned now that I will have to fight another charge on my credit cards because of this call!

Holly H. - 6 Feb 2008Today I received a telephone call from someone at Flake-Wilkerson Marketing Research Center. The website is at: http://www.fw-mi.com/. They are trying to do a survey of residential telephone services. If only the Do Not Call Registry setup by the government would do something about the sale of our "unlisted numbers". If you go to the website, you can find all the contact numbers of the company - including the vice-president. I simply wrote to the people on the list requesting that I be taken off all of their lists. I believe there is a law stating that if a citizen of the USA requests to be taken off a list, then the company must do so.

Jan - 16 Apr 2008Yes, there is a law that if you ask to be taken off a calling list, they must comply. Enforcement is next to impossible. Usually, the second you start to ask to be taken off their list, they hang up on you. If they didn't hear you, they don't have to stop calling, right?
