This person is a scammer, I hope only the most terrible things happen to this individual for the rest of their life.

What name did they use and what was it for?

They are scammers saying they are relocating from other countries and want to send u a check that u cash at your bank then take some of the money and send the rest to another address

They say they are moving from other countries and they want to send u a check to cash at your personal bank and take some money for myself and then send the rest of the money to another address and they ask for personal information

Exactly they sent an check then said put it yo account then email him an copy of the deposit slip and money gram damn near all the money but y send me the money when you can just send it to the person yo self smfh. Because there's some B's going on

I am currently in contact with this person using the name Alex Benyard. Upon receiving the check I intend to tale it, thr phone number, and the e-mail address to local police. He's clearly trying to set up people as patsies for money laundering. I recommend anyone else in touch with him also go to the authorities.

Same here!!! Same number same name. I assumed they were trying to use me for a middle man for drugs hah. The cops said it's a common scam and by depositing the money, they'll have my bank account info. They recommend ripping the check and cutting off contact.

Ive been in contact with this same number for the same reason but by a different name. Glad i looked here first.

 I've been getting emails from a Jones Smiley about becoming a personal assistant for $550 a week. I haven't talked to anyone and told I was hired!! This started with a craigslist post as a front desk coordinator and I was told to email my resume to a completely different. Then I get an email from a Jones Smiley stating that the position has been filled but would like to offer me the opportunity as a personal assistant. I didn't get any contact information until the third email, where I was already offered the position. Then I looked up the number and found all these posts.  Before getting the phone number included in the third email, I couldn't locate any information about this person. I'm glad I found all these posts! I knew was too good to be true!
