As of April 2016 this number (might have been spoofed) was from the Michigan firefighters fund. They phoned my business during business hours. The caller didn't care and kept on with the canned speech. A reputable firm would have apologized so this one must be a scam.

Telescammer looking to get into your $..claimed collecting for firepersons...but how do we really know what with all the scams!!!!!!!

They hang up when my voicemail message comes on and don't leave a message.  I have received multiple calls from this  number.  The name attached to my caller id is Byron Center.

claims to be collect for firefighters, but these "professional" fundraiser keep 95 cents of every dollar they collect, so if you want to support local firefighters then donate directly to your local fire department

caller stated that my student loans had been flagged for collection...i don't have any student loans

What would be a reason to call without the bogus claim, though? Got to have something to try and bait victims with so they can call unless they're only looking for live numbers.
