I received an unsolicited text message today:
"For the assistance you requested with improving your credit, reply YES8 now."

Got an unsolicited text message today from 616-430-7088 that said "Don't let your debt overwhelm you, do something about it now by replying YES8."

To prevent your credit from holding you back reply YES8 to learn how,   Just a text message, Received 2 within 30 minutes of each other

TEXT MSG: "To prevent your credit from holding you back reply YES8 to learn how."

I logged a complaint with my provider and also the Do Not Call Registry since my # is registered. This is the data I found in a simple Google search:

I also did a search and came up with the same info.  I am sorry, but I have Verizon, and I am not going to happy to find out that they are possibly selling or even just handing out my number.  I know calls are routed and rerouted all the time, but is this coincidental? I think not...

received text message about business opportunity. told to respond yes1, if interested.

Received text message "Help is available for ambitious individuals who want to start their own business with low start-up costs, by replying YES1 now."  I am on the do not call list and do not give my phone number out to anyone I do not know personally.

Got the call on my cell. Same as above.  Attempted to block the call and my cell phone company would not block it.

Looks like another provider is in the future.
