Called a couple days in a row.  Just says "wireless caller."  They always try to talk to my answering machine and don't even realize that a live person HASN'T picked up the phone.  Many voices in the background indicating to me that it is a boiler room operation.  Morons!

Called during dinner hour.  Caller ID says 'wireless caller.'

Did not answer.  No message.

Answered the call... guy claimed to be Harry Williams (clearly a made up name given the accent); said he was from Vapesecure out of Michigan.  Wanted to talk to me about my home computer but I kept asking questions to the point he hung up on me!

Just got a call from this number.   Claimed to be from VAPE E Secure.   Said "They are trying to hack your computer.......OK?"   Gave me a license ID for my computer and said they "know."  Wanted to "help me stop the hacker!"   Said my husband is a computer expert (he is) and took their information.   They left me a toll free number   1-888-544-4223.   The woman had an accent to the point that I had a very difficult time understanding her English.   Sounds like a scam to me!

received a call today from 616-502-8499  about my home  computer
I told them I was going to call the police .  They called me from home this past week also . They hang up very fast

Told me my computer is sending out malicious content and mentioned they know my computer ID and something about a license key and they work for Microsoft... Heavy accent! Scam.

Caller ID read: MICHIGAN

Called several times. Male voice who told me that my computer was infested with viruses. He continued by saying that for a small fee he could remove the viruses, but need to be able to connect to my computer.

They did that to me too. Called and hung up immediately. Then about half an hour later they called again so they answered. They said my husband (I'm a guy and I'm engaged to a woman) is a computer specialist and my Intel computer (I own a MacBook) was hacked. I blocked the number

Called and asked if I was the owner of the computer I just hung up on him without answering them.

Called today, did not pick up

Numerous unwanted calls from 616-502-8489.  Probably a scam artist. Always starts out by saying he is calling about my computer. I hang up.

Just got a call from them at 6:30 am this morning!  Could hardly understand them and very noise in the background; I even have a non-solicitor call feature but they ignored it!  Talked some jibberish about computer being in danger; I almost told them to come kidnap it! 😆 I hung up on them ...

Called from "WIRELESS CALLER" (616-502-8489). The person who called (Indian accent) advised that she was calling because their "server team" had information that my computer was infected with a virus. I asked them to provide information on the company, and she said she was calling with VAP eSecure Technical Department. Their call back number is 888-577-4003. According to their website, their contact information is:

These calls are SCAMS to get access to your computer AND to get you to pay them money to fix a problem that doesn't exist.

I received a call he was from possibly India, saying he was from Rapid Secure and wanted to talk about an unwanted windows program on my computer. He wanted me to push control windows logo and R and he would tell me what program was not supposed to be there. I ended up saying I was not interested and hung up. He was very persistent though that I work through this process.

Called today and hung up when the machine answered.
