I got on Craiglist today to look for work and these text messages are coming in from area codes 503. 202 and now616. The first one said he was Mr. Terry and did I need a job. I said but what kind? He told me it was posting job ads on Craiglist. I didn't respond and the other two area codes asking me the same thing. I feel it a scam. I told them I was keeping their number and reporting it to the FCC.

I am also receiving texts from this number. He says his name is Richard Scott from Hancock Fabrics and also wants ads posted to Craigslist. I will report this and hope no one is taken in by these scammers.

I was just scammed with that same text on my phone.  I hope I don't fall for another ad like that.

Just received a text from "Richard Scott" of Hancock Fabrics from 616-537-6371.  Glad I had the foresight to Google!

I just posted a job to work as a babysitter on Craigslist and this phone number texted me and asked if I were ready to work! The text owner said he was Richard Scott from Hancock Fabric, and I would be paid by money gram or Western Union. Total Scam!

Yeah I just got a text message cell # 573-608-1805 it seems to go to be true.

I've read all the reports.  I too received a call from Richard Scott of Hancock Fabric and decided to google.  Glad I did.  The number he calls from now is 507-262-8970. Very creepy.  Scammers
