My mom's cell phone keeps getting calls from this number, but we have no idea who it is or what they want. They will not leave a voice mail.

Have received numerous calls, no idea who it is, never leaves message.

Received a call from this number. Returned call, said it was Verizon Wireless

Received 2 calls from this number, neither time left a VM

It is Verzion Wireless. They are attempting to collect a past due payment. They will not leave a message, however continue to call you periodically calling from random 616 area code phone numbers.

It's Verizon wireless calling. They are attempting to collect on a late cell phone bill.

It is Verizon Wireless we HAD an account with them that we canceled months ago and have paid in full. And have talked with a real person three times each time they say "oops sorry" but the calls keep coming. I guess they didn't really want to lose a customer. :-) They always call from the same number so block the number problem solved.

I do not believe this is actually Verizon Wireless attempting to collect a payment.  I think this is a hoax

THIS IS A TELEMARKING CALL. CALLED SQEAKY CLEAN. I do not have Verizon and never have had it.

Another scammer.  I've had several of this 616 area code contact me lately. This is where my phone is from.  It's always someone foreign on the phone talking about my car (they knew the model and make), a pizza hut gift card.  I have several different random numbers all with my same area code.
This is seriously frightening.  I am going to purchase ID protection-as I believe that is next.

don't even live in that area code anymore.  This is completely frustrating and they call me late at night.

i am getting calls from 6167731466 it breaks up alot then they never leave a message. i don't like the harassment.

Its not Verizon - I've never ever had a Verizon account and I get calls daily - no message left.  I ignore the call because I'm not going to waste the minutes on someone I don't know - but it is irritating they keep calling.

we do not have an over due bill, they wont call the house phone, keep calling tracfone which is prepaid. I didnt start getting these until I bought more minutes, then it started at least 4 times a day everyday! I dont know how to block them,I did call back the number and it said verizon wireless and wanted me to put in my phone number which I didnt

Same thing here, I have gotten called at least 3 times without leaving a voice mail.

I got snailmail warning me a company I used to work for had a security breach when a laptop was stolen out of executive's vehicle, comprising employees confidential information. Around this time frame I was getting an increase in phishing calls that attempt identity theft. I'm already on National Do Not Call Registy. Police said to contact your phone's carrier about reporting all suspicious numbers like this to their security department. Some phishers will actually try posing as your carrier, so be careful to call a verified number of carrier before giving ANY information. Your carrier will tell you how to block the number on your phone. It is advised to never engage in ANY communication with phisher. Do not answer calls, texts from them, just block. They could record your voice for phishing. It is a shame some of the same techniques used to protect our identities, are being used against us.

I get at least 1 call per day from (616) 773-1426 & they never leave voicemail. I call back and it's a recording for diversified financial. Never had verizon either & have pre-paid phone. Putting a block on now!!!

Not only are they not leaving a voicemail, they won't even speak when I give in and answer the call!  I do have Verizon, but do not have an outstanding balance.  They are calling multiple times a day.  Blocking now...

Feel free to call the NRA with your complaints regarding this phone number.  I just did.  Hopefully they will remove all of my business lines from their solicitation list.  Yes, this was confirmed as an NRA phone number by a customer service representative at NRA 800-672-3888
