This number called, said "Hi, this in Jonathan. We'll be in your area installing free home security systems. To participate, please press 1" I, intending to speak to a person and get the name of the company, pressed 1. Then, they ask if you're a home owner, press 3. I did, and they said "Thank you for participating" and hung up.

WTF?

Same message. What a scam!!!

I got this call about 10 minutes ago. Among other random numbers that call me that I don't answer. Every time I call the numbers back it's a recording right away that says "to be put on our do not call list press 1" I press 1 & then 2 days later I get a call from another number.

Missed the call. Cell phone showed this number. Less than 12 hours after previous telemarketing robocall on my cell phone from a different number. Called back and it said "Press 1 if you would like to not receive  any more calls."

Reported to the FTC.

I got two calls from this number in an hour span, ignored them both since it definitely was not in my area code.  It appears that this just started!

Just called me again. How can I report this?

This call number is a scam.  Report to the FCC immediately.  They are doing illegal business.

Twice today this called.  Jerks.  Tired of living in a world where every aspect of life has a scam associated.  This is obviously a scam of some sort.

I just rcvd this call too, I have been receiving this call for the past 3 weeks. Im sick and tired of it. How did they get my number in the 1st place? What makes this even worse, is a day or two before I started getting the phone calls, some lady knocked on my door trying to sale me an alarm system, I didnt even open my door and told her to leave. Apparently they didnt like that.

keeps calling my phone every hour.  I don't answer un identified numbers so i just looked it up and saw this scam by it.

Same, got a call from this num with same message as OP. Just listed my num in donotcall.gov hopefully that will stop it :)

Got a call from this number about alarm systems and it said to press 1 to talk to a representative. I pressed 1, and it connected me to a person. They asked "So you're interested in an alarm system for your home?" I told them I didn't own a home and that I just wanted to be taken off their list. The very moment I said I didn't own a home, before I could even finish my sentence the guy hung up on me.

Just got this call this morning, didn't answer it. Not the first time from them either. Looked it up online. Thanx everyone who reported it here. I live in NC, why is Michigan calling me here?

Called my cell phone! Pushed the numbers to get to some one to remove the number but instead it just hangs up on you. it was that Jonathan.
