I have been out of town for several days, got back and had 49 missed calls, 6 of them today from this number.....This is a little bit ridiculous......I'm on the DNC list, but I guess WHO CARES.....No message left from any of the 49 missed calls!!!!!!

This is the info I have for the above number:

The message they leave is for some kind of health insurance (probably a scam), saying that everyone is approved-yada-yada.

The name of the company is NEVER given: It tells you to press 3 to opt out at anytime, but then the number simply changes (the same automated message was left from these numbers as well: 205-572-4897 and 603-856-0980).

When you call the number back, it says to press 1 to get off the calling list. However, that doesn't work either. A different number calls you with the same message.

On three seperate occasions, I have chosen to speak to an operator.
The first two times, I was in the middle of calmly asking to be taken off their calling list when they hung up on me.
The third time, I decided to act like I was interested so I could get their company name for the Better Business Bureau. When I said that I was interested in the offer, the girl asked if I was behind on my mortgage payments. When I said "no," she said "Well, then, you don't qualify," and hung up on me.

If anyone has info, please put it on here!!!

Also got a call from this number. They hung up when I answered. I think my message has started before I picked up.

I get a call from this number everyday and I don't answer unknown callers, they do not leave a message. I do not want to answer the phone call due to adding any stress. I wish there was something that can be done for this kind of problem.

Answered a call from this number.  It was a recorded message selling dental insurance.  No company name was given in the recording but the caller ID indicated Health Help.

On August 23,  I received my first call from 616-971-0231.  The phone ID showed the name 'Heath Help'

I wasn't home when the call came in and I no longer use an answering machine.

On 9/15/11, received call from 616-971-0231, the caller ID shows up as "unknown name", and they never leave a msg.

It is hard to know which is the bigger scam, the folks at "Health Help", or the takeover of our personal lives and our medical care by Federal bureaucrats.  Nothing like having a bunch of lawyers, cops, and politicians telling your doctor what your treatment plan should be, and what kind of medications you can take.  

Oh well, the good news is that after the systematic destruction of our economy is complete, scammers like "Health Help" will wither away, because no one will have any money for them to go after.  Instead, it will have all been squandered building a "socialist worker's paradise", or diverted into the pockets of an unending sea of corrupt politicians, bureaucrats, and their cronies in the world of multi-national mega-corporations.

Turns out that the world of George Orwell's 1984 arrived after all, it was just slightly delayed.

Your BS is just as bad as the junk phone calls. People don't read these forums to listen to you rant and rave about your political opinions. Find some other place to take a crap.

They never stop and there is nothing you can do about it. The No Call lists are useless. The best approach is to waste as much of their time when they call as possible. Lead them on and pretend to be extremely dense and stupid until they hang up. It can be fun, in a way, to see how far you can go before they realize it's a hoax.  I told one operator I was Sergeant Preston of the Yukon and he kept right on going without missing a beat.

Showed on caller ID, no name, no message. As others have mentioned, seems to be insurance or health-related spam sourced in Michigan, if this info is correct. Annoying.

No one was there when I answered. From what I read here, I didn't miss anything.

They keep calling and hang up.  I know it's some kind of a scam.

the Do Not Call Registry.

Received a call this afternoon from this number and the caller ID indicated "Health Help". I answered and got a pre recorded message talking about low cost dental health insurance. I hung up immediately because after dozens of these types of messages I can easily spot a scam. I agree with many people on here who believe that the do not call list is a waste of time. I average 2-3 of these types of calls nearly everyday. It is very annoying.

Best way to get rid of them is to tell them you are reporting them to the FCC, will report each call and that the person calling can be fined $10,000 per call.
