- Lyd| 1 replyI got 2 calls from this number, the first call was strange because they were talking to someone else on a different line when I picked up and was kind of yelling at them. She asked if I was me and then said she would have to call me back. Then she called again the next day and said some mess about my credit card number and said she was calling from my Master Card account and they were sending me $100.00 in gas vouchers. I said "no you are not with my credit card company, who are you?". She immediately said there was no obligation and hung up the phone. I tried to call the number back, but got a recording. I don't know how they got my name or the last 4 digits of one of my cards, but it was defiantly unauthorized and I am pretty sure this is a scam. I will be watching for false charges on my account!
- Caller: Did not give name
- خالد اللهThey called my phone, had the last 4 numbers of my bank card, and address, with the exception of a zip code. Tried to send me some gas vouchers and gift cards. The name of the company was VISTA Co.

- thetruth| 2 repliesknew first & last name of a previous owner of phone number, told the stupid woman that I wasn't who they were looking for. I did receive calls from this number this other number as well, same woman 269-768-2621(Vista Services, Bellevue, MI). I did not tell her I wasn't who she was looking for. If you receive a call from these thieves, call your state attorney general's office, your state's department of justice, FTC, FCC and the IRS. Make sure you log the call details, gender of person calling, what they say - these people will be investigated for fraud on all levels. Eventually they will be behind bars. These thieves are committing fraud across state lines, heavy penalties for them! Colorado is investigating now...do your part and contribute your information!

- in VAI received two calls so far about gas rebate coupons. She has was too much information about where I live, my work number and won't give any information as to where she received it. I keep making her call me back to see if I can get more information. I wouldn't pay $1.00 for gas coupons using my bank card.
- in MIReceived 4 calls on a Friday, finally decided to answer, listen and nicely decline. These people refused to take no for an answer, I'm getting a packet with gas vouchers and coupons to stop the calling. They had information on me, but I don't have an account with the last four numbers they provided. Probably a grave mistake. I'll wait and see.

- BThis number called me several times and i finally answered. She said I too was getting gas vouchers and had my last four digits of one of my credit cards. I asked what card and she said that she doesn't know. That raised a red flag. I then told her I wasn't interested. I said "thank you for calling" and she called me a "stupid" -insert swear word-.
- Terrin| 1 replyCalled four times and hung up when I didn't answer. I answered on the fifth time and the guy said he was with Vista Co. and was calling in regard to my credit card and then cited last four digits. Went on to "verify" my address and started reading it to me. I hung up on him.
- Caller: Vista Co.

- suziecalled me and left no message.....
- Terrin replies to TerrinAnother note: the four digits he recited on my MasterCard were from a card that was cancelled by my bank because their data was compromised. These people are identity thieves; you can file a report at www.ftc.gov
- Luv2danceCalled me but did not leave a message - it sounded like a large group of people in the background.
- GeeCalled and had the last 4 from my card and my address. Funny thing is when I asked them what company gave them my information he said he didn't know. I said ok, well what company do you all share information with( I don't know). He said all I would have to pay is about $2 and some change for them to send me the information. He said the name of the company was Vista Services. I told him I don't give out my information to a company I have never heard. I hope this helps some one if you give them the rest of the numbers on your credit card they got you. They will be able to charge what ever they want. Just hang up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

- CindyThese folks called claiming to be from my master card and had the last 4 digit of my credit card + my address. They say they have $120 in gas vouchers and I have no reason to object. I told them I'm not interested and would like to opt out. She basically told me there's no reason why I would want to opt out!
I called my cc company and they told me that no one called my number and apparently, there was a transaction that went through today on my cc. However, I never used my credit card today!
Check your credit card company immediately! - Chr_Called once in the afternoon but I didn't pick up. Just called again in the evening, I picked up and said "Hello" but they hung up.
- sA man with an Irish accent called and tried to sell me vouchers. I did not want these and he kept pushing me on the issue and had information on me I was not comfortable with. I continued to ask where he got my number from and he kept dodging me. When I asked to speak to a mgr I was hung up on. My computer system tells me what number and where the call comes from. I quickly reported it to my credit card company who suggested closing all accounts and getting new ones. I also went a step further to close my bank/debit card to get new. You always have to stay a step ahead of these people and think the worst of people instead of for the better unfortunately.

- davidI received this call as well -- they auto-dialed me over 20 times until I picked up the odd Michigan number.
I didn't give them any info but they also had a bunch of info on me already (last 4 digits of CC, phone, address, name).
It may be unrelated, but I had 5 fraudulant charges on my card just a couple of days after I answered the call. Maybe they are dialing numbers to verify they really work? - Clarence Williams III fanReceived call last evening from the 616 number; sounded legit, except when they knew my city then said they'd transfer me to "mail department" to confirm mailing address. That seemed fishy, so I dropped the call. I got a call back within seconds from 000-000-0000, and let it go.
Today at lunch I got an identical call from a 269 number, again stating that I'm a "preferred customer" and would be awarded a $150.00 gas card. The "mail department clerk" then came on, and asked me to confirm that I was the primary cardholder on the account. I said I was driving, and couldn't access the card to confirm. So the guy said, "Okay, thank you; we'll call you again at a more convenient time." Glad I searched the number on the internet! Seems that a lot of folks are suspicious of these folks.
