Man from 616 980 2382 called me and didn't even ID himself when he started asking questions about a visa account number. He refused to ID himself, after I hung up the phone he called back immediately and refused to put a supervisor on the phone and finally ID as with "EMS" when asked his name he paused and then said Stan Phillips, he had a strong accent and still refused to put a supervisor on the phone. When calling back the number you can not reach a "live" person or obtain the company name

We have had several calls from this company over the past year.  They've asked for only one person saying they need to talk him about his Mastercard.  The first time they called he said he didn't even have a Mastercard.  They are from an overseas call center.  They just called again today and he wasn't available, they hung up after I put them on hold.  Highly suspicious, I'm sure they're just phishing personal info. They won't give out any info on the basis that their call is of a "Confidential" nature.  I called the number back and the recording said it was the "Marketing Dept" to leave your Name, Address and Telephone #.

I have received many many many calls from this stupid company and they say that they want to send me a $125 gas card and something about emergency card.  The lady had a strong accent and when I told her I didn't have that credit card anymore she was ready to hang up, the card number they had was actually used in a fraudulent charge......This leads me to believe that they are also FRAUDS.  I heard a ton of people in the background going through the same speach.....anyone have any more info???

they said they would send me 50 dollars worth of gas coupons tand they said it cost 2.95 for next 10 days and i can call this number and ask to cancel.  the women i spoke to wa lana very nice

they have called me vbefore saying the same thin.  it was a man.  the offer cost one dollar for thrity days.  and the stuff never came in the mail.  how can i report them  they say they are esensial medical solutions.  

the two times all had ems on my id   they are a fraud and we have to watch ALL PEOPLE WHO CALL US NOW EVEN IF IT IS TO WIN BILLION DOLLARS

I just got off the phone with this GASREBATECENTER. He was offering me a $15 gas card just for trying out their insurance plan. What I don't get is, I have also gotten a call from a number 616-980-2382. The caller id says they are EMS-Essential Medical Solution. I have been getting calls from them over the past several days, and yesterday I started to question her about how she got my debit card info and mailing address, she said it was from a recent purchase. I am gathering that it may be from the "dental plan" I was called about before, agreed to take, and they never sent me anything and never took anything out of my checking account. She was offering me a $50 gas card for trying out their medical savings card. She even had the last 4 digits of my debit card number. I told her that I thought something was weird about it, and I told her that I was about to get off the phone and contact the BBB. She then told me that she would have my number removed and anything that I was supposed to have purchased would be removed from the computer since I never recieved anything. Funny thing is, today-the day after-another number with all the same digits except the last 4 calls me and offers me the $15 gas card for trying out their medical insurance. Sounds like he is from the same company as the other woman. I have even been called from a "wireless caller" number 201-257-4420 about a gas card and a savings card. Looks like once they stop calling you from one number, they hound you from another. And they are even using cell phones.

They have been callingf non-stop! Thank goodness i read this before i even answered. Or my husband would have fallen for it too.

A man with a strong accent just phoned me at my work number saying he wanted to discuss my mastercard. He had the last 4 digits. I gave him no information and told him I didn't wish to talk to him.  This is disconcerting since I didn't initiate the call. Please advise.

Woman said she was going to give me a gift card for $1 charge and I should hold to speak to the verification department. I hung up and she called back.

Keep recieving calls from this number and 6169802385 confirming the las t3 digits for my Mastercard and telling me I won reward cards for $1 - when asked how they got my number, he claimed a marketing promo company and gave me the following co name/phone #: Avalon/800-322-3757.  I called the number and it was for an airline.

I saw the phone # 616-368-5392 come up on my caller ID (cell phone) I googled the unrecognizable # and I saw this blog.

To all of those who have gotten these calls & wonder what to do next, "FILE a COMPLAINT to THE FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION & contact your Local News Media" and complain to them also. Maybe once they keep hearing about this, they'll investigate & perhaps shut them down.

recived call from 1 616-386-5392 and1-231-732-2641 same name AVALON MKTG  confirming last  4 digit of MASTER cARD ..Man said he sending $25 Wall Mart gift card for $1 shiping and handling.....SCAM

Just calls and hangs up.

calls come from this number as well as 231-732-2641, 231-224-2009, and 000-000-0000 at all hours day & night on my home phone, cell, & work
When I have answered I have gotten dead air most of the time. Other times I get some dumb butt hole who says DO Not Call Registry does not apply to them.
I have filed a complaint with FCC, Attorney General of Michigan and Tennessee, Consumer Affairs, and consumercompalintagency.org.
I have requested a class action suite against the company connected with these numbers, their employees, and any companies I have done legitimate business with who have sold my info to this company & other telemarketers.
I plan to send a fax to each of these agencies each time I get a call from these numbers.
That should get there attention.

616-980-2382 ringing my phone off the hook, 3 times today alone. Thank goodness for this site. Wondered who was bugging me to death, and so googled the number, and got this very informative and helpful site. Crooks.

I keep getting calls from this number to my cell phone, but since I don't recognize the number, I only answered once. A woman wanted to sign me up to purchase magazines, said she had me down as ordering magazines from JC Penney once (which I did years ago) and has the last 4 digits of my debit card! I told her to remove me from the call list and she hung up on me. She has also called my exhusbands cell phone wanting to speak to ME!!! The calls keep coming but I am not answering. Very strange how they have all this information on me.

Just got a call from this numer.  When I answered, the woman said she was calling about my mastercard, and she read the last 4 digits.  When I asked her who she was, she hung up.  Upon calling the number back, I just get a busy signal.  This wreaks of a scam.  Be careful people!

Received calls on my cell phone.  When I answer, nobody responds.
