- Benjamin| 22 repliesThey called several times and no massage was left. My caller ID said "AGI".
- DebGot the same calls from AGI. They said they were BofA. Called back. They are calling on BEHALF of BofA. Big difference.
- Caller: AGI
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Rob| 1 replySame story. Caller ID says "AGI". I believe they actually caught me once at home and were very misleading. Offered a BofA extra service because I was such a "good customer of BofA". I explicitly asked: "is this free?" They said yes. About 10 minutes of wasted time later, it became clear that they were marketing this "service" which was free for the first 30 days ONLY! Beware of these people.

- Rick| 8 repliesGetting calls at 5:45 in the AM. No one there when you answer or they end call after 3 or 4 rings. Used *69 to get the number. Go a call previous evening that said they were Bank of America told them I wasn't interested and hung up. Retaliation? Maybe Bank of America will do something?
- CarolI answered and the person on the other end kept asking is (my name) available? I said speaking and they asked again if I was available. THis happened several times.
- ConsuelaThe calls came through on my work line. No message has been left. The only people who have my work phone number are my bank (BofA) and doctor. I know my doctor isn't giving out the number but I'm not so sure about BofA.
- peabodygot the call from AGI...no answer...nothing.
- bjmI am getting more frequent calls from this number since about last week. I normally get a number of Bank of America calls each week, those have stopped recently, so I am guessing that this number has replaced the BoA number.
- Arlene| 2 repliesI received frequent calls on my home phone from AGI. I wouldn't answer because thought was telemarketer. Finally, getting sick of the calls, I answered. They said they represented BOA with a promotion and if I wanted to opt out to enter my phone number, which I did. Later I called BOA and they never heard of AGI and said they do not represent them. Now I'm concerned I comprised my phone number and/or account in someway. What a nuisance!!!

- Mercy Me replies to ArleneChange your phone number immediately! This is one of the ways your bank verifies who you are when you call for account info.
- Sleuth| 3 repliesThey are trying to sell insurance...but it may be a scam. 616 area code is Michigan. A company in Michigan called Americall Group, Inc is currently recruiting Customer Service Reps who initialize applications then transfer to "licensed insurance agents". I bet these are the culprits...I may send a letter to the FTC asking them to check this company out. Here's the link :

- LC| 2 repliesAfter receiving several calls(To which the caller would hang up the second the answering machine picked up)I checked the caller ID which said AGI and the #. I called them and got what sounded liked a recorded message. It said that they were offering a special promotion through BOA. If I wanted to be put on the "Do Not Call" list, to press 1, and then enter my phone #. The thing that stopped me, was that at the end of the supposed recording instead of hearing an electronic beap, I heard a person's voice say beap!!! I didn't trust it and hung up before I entered my #.

- Terry Jo| 1 replyCalls everyday at diferent time. Called Back, recorder says they are a telemarketer calling in behalf of Bank of America. Answered once, they hung up. Answered another time and it was for insurance on Identity theft Purportedly offered by Bank of America. BoA seems to pass out phone numbers to just about anyone. No wonder Identity theft is running rampant
- Call type: Telemarketer
- QuadCitiesCaller ID came up as TN Removal Sys. They show up with other numbers (Google the name).
- ANNONYMOUSI have been getting calls from AGI for many days and numerous times a day. I never answer it unless I know where the number comes from so I decided to look it up on the internet. Well, I am glad that I did. Something just seemed suspicious. I contacted bank of america and they said they did not offer any promotion through AGI and have nothing to do with them. Be careful! How do I get them to stop calling?
- Caller: AGI
- AnonymI was not here to receive the call but my mother was. They asked for me as if they were a friend. My mother stated I was not home and they hung up.
