This Alexander Banks is now Alexander W. Jones and he is trying to buy an RV in North Carolina for his dad in Idaho. He is willing to spend $55,000.00 on something he has only seen pictures of. Too bad he is in New Zealand working as an "Oceanographer". But if I will pay for the agents fee he will surely put my money in my Pay Pal account. I need to have a "HUGE" amount of trust on my end. WTF ever! Don't fall for it.

I got a text from Alexander Banks wanting to buy my RV sight unseen.  He is a scam artist and only wants to do business through Pay Bal.  STAY AWAY FROM ANY CONTACT FROM ALEXANDER W. JONES.  His email address is alexjonezz@gmail.com .  His phone number he texted from is 612-294-8269

I got the same text from Alexander W Jones. Wants to buy my SUV immediately for his dad who lives in Idaho but is currently on assignment as an Oceanographer in New Zealand and can only pay via paypal. Similar to above post I also need to have a "HUGE" amount of trust in him.  He wants to buy a car without seeing it, BS, this guy is a total creep/scam artist. DO NOT ACCEPT ANY OFFERS FROM HIM. The number he texted me from was 561-449-2447 looks like he has changed his number but still has alexjonezz@gmail.com acct. Total Jerk!

Received text from 989-715-0412 about my SUV for sale online in New England, reply to alexjonezz@gmail.com This is a scam. Same idiot I am sure. Waste of time.

Received a text from his 561 number that instructed me to email him only at alexjonezz@gmail.com, about my car for sale. So glad I researched his email first! What an idiot crook! Thanks for the info!

Don't fall for it.  Wants to buy RV ASAP without any info at all.  Does not want you to contact him any other way other than email.  SCAM.  Don't waist your time.

Alexander W. Jones contacted me. Wants to buy my 89k Mercedes Sprinter.  Use PayPal and send an agent for delivery.  He's total BS!   I've been jerking with him reversing game rules.

Alexanderwjones- tried to buy a mc on cycletrader from me.  Classic PayPal scam from a guy that claims to be an oceanographer even includes a link to Linkedin describing himself (probably hacked) and not his real name.  At last moment wants to include extra for his shipping agent and I am to send wire with $$$.  Got wise to it in time.  Don't fall for this guy.

Just received the same email from this guy Alexander Jones on June 28, 2013 wanting to buy my acura for 17,000 sight unseen with an agent, paypal , and requesting a MoneyGram for me to pay his agent because he is at sea. Also gave me his linkedin link! Googled him and found out about his scam before the transaction. Keep watching out for this guy as he is moving forward with this scam.I called Paypal and they said there is a lot of scamming going on with Paypal and they advise not to use Paypal accounts for car purchases.

Alexander jones is what he is going by today as of July 9 2013.  He was trying to buy out 2013 cyclone toy hauler.. He had seen on rv trader ..thru paypal.. His now number is 661-855-4234. And email is rythair @gmail..  This was a gift for his dad in Idaho and his agent  is from Tennessee and going to pick up rv to take to his dad.  If I wire the agent the 950 shipping fee... Scam scam scam

I also received one today. 7/15/2013. He now is calling from 9372032298. And his gmail is now rythair@gmail.com. I have chose not to respond to him since I found this scam first. Stay away from this he just Went by Alex.

He's still at it.  He just contacted me about a Mazda 6 and wants to buy it sight unseen.  Current number is (937)203-2298.  Email is rythair@gmail.com.  Going by "Alexander J./Kiss Jones" now.

I just received exact same information regarding my Escape posted for sale from a Alexander J and when you scroll over the name it appears as Kiss Jones in gmail. email is also rythair@gmail.com but the number he used was 719.355.7945 for a text message just in case anyone else gets this.

on 7/15/2013, he is calling from 9372032298, he want to pay via paypal and send kind of agent to my place for pick up.

Just received the same message from Rythair@gmail.com about 10 minutes. Here is what I sent back to him:

I rec'd a text message from 480 666 8820, asking me to contact this guy at email rythair@gmail.com about my car for sale.  His email reponse showed his name to be Alex.  He wanted to buy my vehicle, sight unseen and would only use paypal because it was safe and secure, and I should get a paypal account if I didn't already have one.  He then said, he would have his private p/u agent contact me to arrange for a pick up at my place of choice, once payment was made.  

The communication was made today and I thank you all for posting your comments and saving me hassle, money and trouble with this joker.  I will be declining his offer.

I have got a similar message from this scammer and the number he used was 408.666.8820 He actually uses the same text every time!! what a loser!!

Ok, I must be the latest victim; or almost victim.  I got a text message from him today (480-666-9045).  He's willing to buy my 2004 Crown Vic for the asking price- no need to see the car.  The usual excuse; buying it for his dad in Idaho!
