Same, received 2 phone calls.  Person hung up.

Called. I answered. I repeatedly asked "Hello?" and they just ended the call without a word.

Block it. I blocked my number and called it back "The number you have dialed is not in service please check the number and try your call again" , translation: spoofed.
When will these reporting websites update the site information to include Spoofed n the box we tick "Caller Company" and  SCAM in the box we tick  "Call Type ?  It doesn't really matter anymore if the call originates from a/n Event Reminder, Fax Machine, Non-Profit Organization, Political call etc. bc these are legit callers and there's nothing to be done.  However, isn't it the Scammers and Prank/Thieves s and Telemarketers targeting your grandparents whom the FCC and FBI are targeting ?  Of course, there's nothing they can do either but it would make people feel more empowered if we could choose something a bit more relevant than "Unknown".

I looked up 617-209 and it's spoofed thru an RCN , Belmont MA  landline connection but luckily no human will be pestered when we angered, responding callers check the number.

Called me multiple times. When I answered, they didn't say a word. Blocking it now.

This number called my DNC listed landline on 1/9/16 @ 1043 hours.  I wasn't around to answer it and wouldn't have anyway seeing that 99% of all calls I get on my landline are scam artists.  I blocked my call information and called the number back from a different line.  The number is not in service so it's yet another scam artist.

Arrrgh.  Once an hour, Monday through Friday.  You can set your clock to them.  Perhaps I should think kindly of them because they don't make their employees work weekends.  But I don't.

They call every day couple of times. Get a real job ya bums.

These people need to get a life, calls and no one there, block them

How did you block the call?  I have Verizon, and to block on a landline, I have to pay extra.

Kept calling me and hanging up.  So I called back.  Supposedly an Energy Company that is ready to reduce your electric bill to $.09 per Kwh.  But the person I spoke to wanted all my info before she disclosed that much.  I gave her none of my info.

They have called thirteen times since eleven am. They are an energy supply company wanting to lower my bill.  They are not on national grids approved list of suppliers.  Do not give information to anyone who cold calls you.

You can block it from your Verizon online account, if you want to utilize that - it will help you. The Verizon app with your account will allow you to block the number. It's all free.

And I mean to utilize the services for your Verizon account that you can access online for your settings,  etc.

BUy a Panasonic phone that has call block capability. Best $100 I spent on a 4 phone cordless phone system on sale in Staples

Called here in MASS and same deal no message no sound just click.  Phishing scam again,  They S__K  If it keeps up I will block it  The caller ID said V11312440900024 .  Keep on trickin'  Happy New Year to all.

Am waiting for call from landlord's plumber. Saw this number on my call log.

Some energy company. Informed them that they are on speaker phone and have audible witnesses to them calling. I directly asked them to never call again.
