Rec'd a call to my cell - they did not leave a message

picked up, but nobody on the other end responded.  Happens every day with a different number.

received call today on my cell.. left no message- 'unknown name' on caller i.d.

Just got a call from this number on my cell phone.  No message.  First time I've seen this number.  Says it is from Belmont, MA/

Call came in at 5:22pm (~45 minutes ago). I did not answer, and no message was left.

This is not the first time I receive a suspicious call from a number in my area code ALTHOUGH I have left the area years ago and have no attachments to it. Since I manage a list of blocked numbers, I can say that this is at least the sixth time I have seen this happen (list below).

I suspect that this is some kind of spam/scam robocall that uses the same area code as mine BY DESIGN (people are more likely to answer an unknown call coming from their area code). I would be very surprised if this was a legitimate call. My advice is not to answer and block the number.
