This phone number is calling to do fund raising for the Massachusetts Fraternal Order of Police. I have called the number.  It directs you to a customer service department that can answer questions, help you donate, or anything else related to the FOP. Also, there’s information on www.massfop.com. Plus, you can contact them there with any questions or requests.
The FOP is doing a lot of really great things for Massachusetts police officers and the people that call are trying to help them raise money so they can do even more good.

This is B.S.  They are raising money for their own needs I have no doubt.  Caller asked for "lady of the house" hung up when I asked who was calling.  Not professional at all.

They have called numerous times from different numbers, told them not to call blocked the number(s)- This time they asked for the lady of the house,told them to remove me from their list and never call again and hung up as he kept trying to talk. The next step will be to report them, very unprofessional and persistant. I will not support anyone who calls repeatedly. I highly doubt the validity of this"fundraiser"...states they are from the fraternal order of the police but I doubt it!

Great "snow job" -- your post seems incredibly upbeat and therefore suspicious. Have you fooled anyone yet?

have recieved several calls, never talk to anyone, as when I answer they hang up !

message left on answering machine asked for me by name--I am also on the "no call list"  where did they get my name and number?  I am very suspicious about this call!

Caller Id says the number is "MA FOP" (MA Fraternal Order of Police).  This FOP fundraising firm is being sued.  According to this article: http://www.thesunchronicle.com/articles/2008/11/21/news/3964877.txt

This number on my caller ID. I did not call back the number. Thanks for all the postings. I won't be calling the number. As for the first posting from Snow, I am suspicious just like everyone else.

Just received a call from this number.  It asked for my by first name (I am the wife/"lady of the house") but then seemed to go to a recorded message, part of which said "Thank you, we have no message for you at this time."  It concerned me at first thinking that someone was calling to see if someone was home or to verify who lives here.

I got the same call serveral times. I never spoke with them and they never left message.

The MA FOP place has been calling me on a daily basis, everyday for months.  I am on the "Do not call" list also, and I filed several complaints about them.  I think that charities are exempt from the Do Not Call list.  But whether this place is really a charity is doubtful.   Authentic charities usually do not harass potential contributors with repeated hang-up calls.

the MA FOP is unrelenting.  Calls at home, the office and how they got my cell number...I don't know.  To flood my business with calls is complete bull shtuff.  I will never give them any donation; more than happy to help out my local police force...directly.
