received a call from this number at 644 pm on wednesday......said hello and no one answered.....

Got a call at 8:58PM on a Wednesday night - I did not answer, and they did not leave a message.

Call came in at 9. Pm weds. Night, left no message not traceable ... A dead one when I attempted to return call.

Got a call from this # via Call Waiting @ 3:36PM while on a personal call.  Did not answer.  Got a 'hang up' call from a very close # 617-274-07*50* at 1:33PM earlier today.

WHO is this and WHAT do they want?
I have numerous DOCTORS in Boston; it is VERY hard to distinguish between those LEGIT calls and these BOGUS SPAM calls.

Likely connected to the SLEW of "Lower Your Electric Rates" calls we've been getting for THREE months.  This is just a variation on the "Lower Your Interest Rates" SCAMS of past years.  Other #s they use are:

Call back gets:  "You were contacted because you were selected to answer a survey.  We may call you back later."  Could be a "legitimate" survey or a scam.  Read about scam survey here:

Another survey, annoying!

TIME WARNER CABLE was running ADS for these kinds of things:  Switch your electric provider and Home Solar Panels.  Suspect they are selling the names and phone numbers of their subscribers to their advertisers for telemarketing, even though that is illegal.  But, of course, the mega corporations think they can get away with anything short of murder, I guess.  Thing is, we were getting few to NO calls on our other lines about this, only the one phone number connected to our cable bill.

When I finally pointed that out to the DNC list in my complaints.....the calls stopped within a few days!

Just something to think about.
