Caller ID said "Bos Commonpress." No message.

Should have checked first: this is "Cook's Illustrated," and they do seem to have a lot of people complaining about their sales and billing procedures.

I used to subscribe to Cook's Illustrated but quit.  They are frequent callers.

I just read that the calls are from Cooks - I did not renew my subscription - guess athey are trying to get me back by harrassment.  They leave no message, and have called several times the last week.

Yes, at one time I was a Cooks subscriber until the annoying morons kept calling me every day. I did not reup because of these idiots. Take that Cooks jerks!

I am a Cooks Illustrated subscriber, but I don't want them calling me either. I had no problem calling them and telling them to stop calling me to try and sell their other publications. Unlike most telemarketers, they actually listened and stopped!

If you call the number back you can be placed on their do not call list. I just received a call.  When I picked up it was silent on the other end. So annoying that they call and you have to say hello numerous times.

American Test Kitchen, Cooks Illustrated, a boiler room person talking so fast he wouldn't stop till I said "no" twice. Then he hung up on me before I could even ask him to remove me from their calling list.
I love their show, i love their books....but I hate their high pressure telemarketing approach. Free gifts are offered with another expensive book or subscription. When you pay it off, expect many phone calls and a new offer within days.

Thank you all.  I just got a call with no message.  I had three mag subscriptions from them that just ran out.  I subscribe to their web sites.  You  get all three site access for one price (around $50 per year) which is actually a great deal and I like it a lot.  But, I do not like the calls.  Got my first one tonight from "Bos Commonpress" no message.  I looked here to see if I could find out who it was.  Cooks Illustrated makes sense. Thanks again.

Have called multiple times but I don't answer. States Bos Common press, did just order cooks illustrated.  Don't want to be bothered by them

America's Test Kitchen, Cooks etc customer service number is: 1-800-526-8442.  They will remove you from calling list.

This is the third number they have used to call me.  I blocked the other two.  About a year ago, I made a HUGE mistake and subscribed to their stupid magazine after they sent me a sample copy.  The calls started almost immediately.  They were apparently trying to upsell one of their other publications.  I never answered the phone.   Because of their telemarketing calls, I didn't renew my subscription and now they're calling me again.  I will never purchase anything from them ever.
And, because I have done business with them, Do Not Call doesn't apply.

This company must not be very bright. Do they believe if they constantly call and harass someone they will then want to do business with them?

Like others, I subscribed to the magazine and soon started getting multiple calls a week. A previous commenter said call "1-800-526-8442" and ask to be taken off their call list. I called and they were very courteous and took me off their call list.

If you contact them and ask them not to call you, you'd better insist that they do not 'sell' your details to some other organization. AARP is the worst for this kind of activity, they will sell your info to anyone who will pay them for it, even to
those known to be involved in fraudulent and other criminal activity. STAY AWAY FROM THE AARP, UNLESS YOU'D LIKE
TO BE TARGETED BY HARRASSING TELEMARKETERS.

Cook's has called twice before but this is a new number. I've politely refused each time and as someone mentioned above-- they hung up before I could ask them to stop calling. I didn't answer this "Bos" number and they left no message. It's a shame that the company has resorted to these annoying calls...I'll not subscribe to them anymore.
