i can vouch for m20's post, i'm a tufts alumni and got a call today asking for money

I missed this call, but I am a Tufts alumni, so probably the same as above.

I only went to Tufts Veternary on Walpole, MA & got A CALL.

It is Tufts, and may I say that the only way that any of my money will in any way be spent in relation to Tufts University is if Tufts burns to the ground and I buy a plane ticket to Boston so that I can piss on the ashes.

I just got a call that hung up when I answered. I have no connection to Tufts.

Confirming that it is Tufts University, asking for donations.

Yep, it's those arrogant bleeps at Tufts.  I subscribe to a newsletter they publish, so they apparently looked up my phone number awhile back and have been harassing me with phone calls for donations.  Tufts needs to fire some folks in fund raising.

Unwanted calls

I did not graduate from Tufts but I have used Tufts Veterinary Hospital extensively for one of my dogs and have received calls from them in the past. Because of having a "relationship" with the organization, the calls are okay under the Do Not Call regulations. I think you have to answer the call and tell them specifically not to call.

No association with Tufts. Number on phone displays differently from number that appeared on U-Verse TV screen. Got to be a scammer. Called at 10:30 PM

I'm another Tufts graduate who got a call from that number today while I was out.  No message was left.

Yes it was from tufts. I gave this craptastic school too much money when I attended.

Tufts Telefund.  No need to hate, most of the people calling are actual students who do this as a part-time job.  Sometimes they actually enjoy chatting to Alumn and sometime its fun to hear what's changed/stayed the same.  They are required to ask you to donate 3 times so the best thing to say if you're not going to donate "I'm not going to donate money.  Do you need to ask me three times so that you don't get in trouble?" They will usually laugh and thank you for being a good sport.

I got a call today. Didn't answer but as a Jumbo parent it makes sense that it's from Tufts. Thanks to all for the heads-up.
