Got a call.  Asked if I was available (they had my full name).  I confirmed that it was me and they hung up.

Called my cell. No message. Ignored it

Called my cell, didn't recognize the number, didn't answer, no message. Could it be college annual fund solicitation?

Got 4 calls in 7 days on my cell.  So I figured it's Tufts asking for money.  Called the number back got voicemail recording about Tufts alumni donations.  Put the number on my block call list in my cell.  Super annoyed that I give money every year and still get harassed. On top of a 5k monthly loan bill.

Got a call from this number a few times but I had missed the call until tonight. They're Tufts Alumni asking for their annual donation.

I received a call from this number today, no message left.  I have never attended tufts.  I am a former Tufts medical center employee, and I have recently taken an animal to tufts veterinary hospital.  I don't know why an alumni association would be calling me if what other posters are saying is true.

I also got a call from this number but did not answer and no message was left. I did go to Tufts, so it is possible that it is from them. But now thanks go the other messages I won't answer. If I want to give money to Tufts, I will -- they won't need to call me asking.

I used to work at the call center at tufts and yes they had us call people who had brought their animals in to the vet clinic and ask for donations! Talk about awkward one person told me their pet died at tufts but I still had to ask them to donate money!

It was Tufts calling looking for donations. After they bullied me into getting extra CT scans for my dog, which another vet said was absolutely unnecessary, I will never give another dime to that place. Awful doctors. All they care about is money.

Called the business over the weekend and didn't leave a message.

If in fact it was Tufts, I have never attended Tufts nor have I taken my animals to their vet clinic. We don't even live near their school. I do subscribe to their newsletter so I guess they use that relationship to contact me for a donation. Did not answer the call and they hung up on the voice mail.

They just called me. I answered with the usual "what the f do YOU want, you scammerscammerscammerscammer" ad infinitum, followed by hitting the # continually.  It has worked beautifully for me with other "unknown names", they just don't call anymore, so I'm hoping it will work on these bs too!

I have been receiving calls from time-to-time (couple of years), I don't answer them, most of the time they end up on the answ. mach. when I'm gone. I subscribe to a Health & Nutrition newsletter put out by the Freidman school there, and like an apparent damn fool, some time back, I ordered some additional information on a subject, and put my # on the order form as asked.--- Live & Learn!  DNCL? The never ending joke!

Highly annoying.  I already gave money this year. Why can't the wait until a year has passed before they start calling and harassing you with calls and mail?  It's called an ANNUAL donation.  Not giving $$ next year.  When they stop calling for one full year, I'll give again

Yes it's Tufts. I just got a voicemail from them that said nothing but the weird part is the phone didn't even ring, just went to voicemail. Maybe I blocked it at some point.
Anyway, I'm an undergrad and grad graduate of Tufts and I did work for Telefund. And yes, we used to be asked to call all sorts of people no matter how minimal their connection to Tufts was and also call regular donors for additional donations. Very awkward. Even though I donate regularly, I still get calls and letters to donate to additional random causes. It's annoying.

I find this number on my phone ID a few times a week.  I appreciate knowing it may be Tufts,  I do subscribe to their Newsletter but don't recall ever giving them my number.  I will block it.
