I get several calls aday from these people, they never leave a message on the machine, and when i answer the phone they never say anything.  anybody know who they are? they're pain in the butt

I just got a call from this number, and when I answered no one said anything but I could hear several voices in the background.  I returned the call and after a few rings a recorded female voice said only "Please leave your numeric message after the tone" and then there were a series of beeps.

they call called twice. first call no one responded. second call next day I didn't respond when I picked up phone, and a male eventually started speaking,knew my name, and said he was from a chimney sweeping company and would be in our area.I asked him to stop calling,he hung up. we have been on the do not call registry for 6 months.

Very strange call.  Knew my name and eventually mumbled something about chimney sweep and then hung up.  When I tried to call back to see what this was about, I got the same recorded message.  Then, they called back next day and did not speak.  I am also on the Do Not Call registry.

This number also is calling me.  He said he could clean the furnace and pipes.  Scam to me.  Maybe they call to see if people are home, and if u don't answer they will rob your house.

Cheryl....I live in South Boston and the same thing happened to my father.  I am getting nervous.  What can we do about?  Where do u live?

I received a call last night.  The man knew my name.  He said he was calling out oil and gas heaters.  I said I wasn't interested.  He called again today when I was out and my partner answered the phone.  The guy hung up, then called back and asked for me.  When I called the number back I got the recorded message about leaving my number.  Needless to say, I didn't.

I get repeated calls, finally decided to answer.  It was background noise and a woman talking to some people about "we got a call, and there were f'ing TVs everywhere".  I assume the chimney people are calling with a robo caller and talking amongst themselves until someone picks up.  Nuttin' but class!!!

If they are legit, how come when you plug the # into Google it doesn't link to anybody, even if you type 617-339-9997 and "chimney"

Someone calls from this number.. never leaves a message... called it back... computerized message... to enter numeric message... what is this?

Got a call from this number. Didn't recognize number so let it go to answering machine. About 3/4ths through the message caller hung up. No message left.

This is very disturbing to me.  I am would like to know if we everyone that got these calls if they live in the Boston area.  I am in South Boston

Called this morning.  did not answer.  3rd such call, all from different numbers, since 4/12.

I HAVE GOTTEN CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER AND I HEARD VOICES IN THE BACKGROUND I CALLED IT BACK AND IT REQUESTED A NUMERICAL PAGE I PUT IN 9-1-1.  HA-HA-HA....

Received two calls in the same day from this number. Did not answere; we never do on unknown numbers because we are on the Do Not Call list.  But these folks need to be prosecuted for violating the DNC list..

My mother just received a call from this number, when she answered she heard them say
" hate him hate him hate him" I called the number and the message was to leave a numeric page.

Keep receiving calls from these number. When I pick up no one answers. If I miss the call there is no message.

they just called me and hung up i have received calls from them before, why are they allowed to get away with this ?
