When I called the number a recording told me no message had been posted, and to please hang up.

Had the same problem last year.  They keep calling, leave no message, and when called back you're told to hang up!

Called at 8:45 pm 03/23/12. No one spoke.I hung up phone.

Called tonight  I did not answer - no message. Annoying!

Nuisance~ calling several times today. I can hear a person breathing but they don't leave a message.

3 calls from this number in one day. called and recording said "no message has been recorded."

5:41 p.m. Caller I.D. showed 617-371-1801. Did not recognize so did not pick up. No message left.

The caller from 617-371-1801 is the New England Shelter for Homeless Veterans in Boston. Did not answer and no vmail left. It's a legit organization that helps vet's find places to live and jobs. The problem may be the callers. I've contributed to this organization for years, but only through mailing a contribution and never over the phone. Try calling 617-371-1800.
