Received 2nd call on cell phone ... I don't know who it is.

Ive been getting a call akily from these people

I blame comcast! I do not even have my new number memorized but yet I get 12 calls a day from all over the US.  Comcast claims innocence.  Call Comcast and scream even if you do not have a comcast phone they are the problem!

THE CAT IS OUT OF THE BAG !! Its the Patriot Ledger In Quincy, MA. I missed a couple of calls from this number but they never left a message, when you call it back it is always busy, just received a call, the women identified herself as being from the Patriot Ledger newspaper.

I live in MA., and just got a call from this number. Caller id said
"local paper"

My cell phone is in Texas, and I received this call. But it hung up as soon as it started, so it showed as a missed call.

Called me at 8:30 today. Since I am on the don't call list, they are screwed. I reported them to donotcall.gov
Help everyone out and file a complaint with the FCC by going to donotcall.gov and reporting them. It is NOT your "local paper", it is not the "Patriot Ledger" either. I do not know why someone would say that, except that they are FROM this damned number.

I went to the Patriot Ledger website & tried to match the phone # that called with those listed on their website and they are NOT even close to each other.

The phone calls are from the Boston Herald.  Someone was finally on the other line after 50+ phone calls.  The guy had the audacity to tell me it was my fault because I wasn't answering my phone quickly enough.

I just got a call from this number, with the name of "local paper".  He asked for my husband, and just said "tell him the paper called".  When I asked which paper, he had already hung up.
I just filed a complaint with the Do Not Call Registry.

Get 3 to 6 calls from this number on my cell daily - these began last week - rings twice and I've never located my cell quick enough to answer before they hang up. Anyone know of any way to block this number? Thnx much.

Don't even BOTHER to call the "Do Not Call Registry". They are pretty much a useless organization. They just don't have the time to follow up on all these petty calls. If they got thousands of complaints on the same number, they would then probably take action. It's kind of like calling 911 when you see someone driving erratically. They just DON'T have the time.

Stop calling my house.  I am on a do not call list and apparently this caller doesn't understand what do not call means.  STOP CALLING MY NUMBER!!

They've been calling my house as well. I blame Verizon. I switched to Verizon two weeks ago and not two days after I started getting innundated with freaking spam calls.

i just switched to concast a week ago, now I recive this call 10 times a day at least.. saying the they are from local paper, they are from police office, or telemarketer...
this is pissing me off... when i call back no one is available to take the call.
last time i got the call, they told me my hosband was involved in a car accident.  God almighty... what are this people thinking???
