They could not tell me how they got my phone number or why they were texting me. They wanted me to sign up for some new weekly sports magazine. They asked about my credit card company and address. I was quickly hung up on when I said I was not interested in recieving any magazines.

I have received text messages from this number regarding a $250.00 gift card????

This has got to be a scam. I got a text from them saying:

"Claim your share of the $100 Billin in unclaimed assets held by the Government. We find CASH for 8 in 10 people! Call (877#) NOW. Reply STOP for DNC"

Sounds like they've changed their pitch, but I'm sure they want my ss# or cc#. Not going to call and I replied STOP. I'm also reporting them to DNC bc my number is already listed as DNC.
