I meant to say the voicemail caller ID says "Local Radio."

Magic 106.7 radio station - kept calling & not leaving a message.  I finally picked up and it was a radio station calling to drum up listeners for certain hours.  The woman was very polite, but this is still an unappreciated violation of the do not call list.

This number called our business today at 1038 hours.  Caller ID showed "Local Radio."  As I've gotten this kind of call before, I knew what to expect.  I picked up the phone but said nothing, waiting.  After a long moment, a fast-talking woman (or a recording) said she was calling from Magic 106.7.  I didn't say a word.  I just gently but firmly returned the receiver to the cradle.  I've told them in the past that I don't listen to the radio - at all, never mind at work - but they seem incapable of grasping that fact.  At least they don't call often, maybe once a year or so.

These people called our business again today, this time at 1337 hours.  Apparently they are too dense to have gotten the clue when I hung up on them yesterday.  This time, I simply picked up the receiver and immediately replaced it.  In the short time that took, one of our actual customers called but couldn't get through because of these annoying pests.  So much for them not calling frequently.

I listen once a year for Christmas songs and those repeated every hour fire the program director or station manager  sub par programming. I mainly listen to 103.3 and that is just as bad grow a set of personalities or programs! anuf said

Ps Major I/2 props for XMAS songs brings me 1/2 joy just be more creative no looping songs all the talent in Boston we get half azzed  programming.  I don't mind a lil talking

This number (617-459-4726) has been in the current loop of telemarketers that call my business. They call about 3x a day. On caller ID, it shows up as "Local Radio."  No, it is not your local radio station calling. This number is connected with a national marketing company called ORC Protel.  If you call the number back, there is an option to remove your number from their call list.  If you see "Local Radio" on the caller ID and hang up on them, it automatically calls you a second time right after.
