Not sure who called just says Massachusetts

I got a strange phone call from this number stating I needed to call within 24 hours b/c they received paperwork and needed to confirm information.  Sounds awefully suspicious to me.  No name, just left an 800 number to call back.  877 517-3753

This number belongs to Boston Financial Data Services.

unwanted solicitation of financial products.  not a creditor///mass sales, and definately missing the boat

I received a missed call from this number 617-483-7001. When I tried to call back to inquire, I just receive a busy signal.

This is a legitimate phone number from Boston Financial Services.  They manage Dreyfus accounts, and perhaps others.  They ask you to respond to 877-517-3753, the correct number for Boston Financial Services and generally need only to clarify something that you've already provided.  No problem.
