I was told it was a phone number for Integral Resources, and that they where raising money for the Environmental Defense Fund. LOL. They said "This is to help find better ways than the oil companies"

I was told that this number was for Planned Parenthood asking for donations. Checked with PP, and they said they thought it was legitimate. They work with a third-party telemarketing company. Seems legit, but there should be a way to find out for sure.

the caller from this number claimed he was raising money for senatorial campaigns

Caller ID was Unidentified; but caller identified company as Integral Resources, said it was a fundraising company for a lot of political campaigns and non-profits.  They called me for Planned Parenthood Action Fund.  Caller had to put me on hold to give me a number to contact them at.  Caller claimed she couldn't put me on a list to stop getting all calls from the company; that she could only put me on a list for PPAF only to stop calling.  Supervisor wasn't sure and would call if they could not do so.  It was a weekend so they might have not had adequate adult supervision.

Told it was fundraising for ACLU
