Just got a call from them today could hardly hear the person (roy) very threatening

Callers from this number have a heavy Indian/Pakistani accent to their English and claim American names.  State they represent a law firm ready to file criminal charges aginst you for failing to pay an overdue bill, and that the papers will be served to your employer tomorrow.  They state you can halt this actioon, which would destroy your reputation and have you in jail by tomorrow afternoon if you pay the amount of the outstanding bill plus a small processing fee, directly to this law firm.  Money nust be received ASAP so you can authorize a debit from your bank acoount, a debit or credit card payment, or Western Union cash directly.  HA!  Unfortunately this type of scam is becoming prevalent and often intimidates those that don't know better.  I've filed a fomal complaint with the Massachusetts attorney general's office and state police.

Very threatening......says we owe money but cannot say for what. Has been blowing up all lines of our business for the past two hours. Police are now involved. Scam artist no doubt!!!!!!!!! Roy is his name so he says....... bad connection and strong Indian-Pakistani accent. Do not send money.

OMG!! This Roy guy with a strong Indian- Pakistani accent has been blowing up my phone non stop, back to back. I finally decided to answer and hear what he has to say and he is claiming I received an online loan (NEVER HAPPENED, EVER) And that I will go to jail for check fraud and fraud by deception if I do not pay. I stated I never had an online loan and he called ME a Lier!! My husband got on the phone and cussed him out and guess what...HE cussed back at my husband! This is when I KNEW it was a scam! DO NOT SEND MONEY.

keep getting repeated phone calls from this number and very nasty.  told to stop calling but will not stop.  now calling my work place.

Bill collector calling for an employee, He was told that we did not take calls from bill collectors. He continued to call numerous times. He said his name was thomas Harvey. He did sound Indian however, based on his accent.

Just got a nasty voicemail from this number at work saying he had "an urgent legal matter" and I needed to call him back immediately. (Yeah, I'll get right on that.)  Also sounds Indian/Pakistani and giving a fake American sounding name.  Pretty sure it's a scam.  They really should read up on US law and then maybe they realize that you can't be jailed for debt.  If you could, over half the country would probably be in prison right about now.  IDIOTS!

For 3 weeks straight they keep calling my work, and are very rude to everyone they talk to. I told them to send a bill to me and give their address so I could send them a cashier check, but guess what they cant do that. Ok if you want your money why would you not give a adress to get it. BECAUSE I DONT OWE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

this man call me at work yesterday stated they had a law suit against treating me to send money   i did not send nothing today again they call me back i told him i reported them to ftc and the police  i hope the lord they found these people and put them away for a long time by the way he goes by the name simon or patrick they used multiple names and tel numbers

This is a criminal extortion ring operating out of India. ABC News released an investigative report on it in June. The FTC has indicted one of its ringleaders for criminal fraud:

Keep getting calls from a Roy Parker at this number threatening he was rude to the receptionist here.  I have repeatedly asked him to stop to no avail.  I just keep on hanging up on him.  Fortunately I work for a lawfirm who is handling the trace on this call.

Can somebody help me to stop these nasty calls??? Someboy named Thomas Harvey is calling me every 2 hrs to my workplace, saying the same thing "law firm,and I need to pay some debt that I do not know is mine", very dificult to understand what is he saying, I do not know how stop those calls.

Let them know that you are aware this is an extortion scam, are recording their calls which will be turned into your attorney, the FTC and law enforcement.

This is a Bad Fraudulant Company!!! They Called and Harassed US! We Reported it to the Police !!!!

Same thing happened to me today.  Disturbing as he gave me a lot of my personal information and claimed he was suing me over a pay day loan I never took.  I have received 17 calls from this number today alone.  He gave me a license number GL100739688 which seems to be fake as I cant find any records of it.

This jerk called my friend thirty times in one day.  My fiend is a minor with Autism and lives in Texas and got his number from caller ID.  I called and asked for Justin Han and when he said he didn't know who that was, I went off on him and told him he picked the wrong kid to harass.  I have thousands of minutes on my phone, no job and plenty of times only hand to call these jerks.  He called a minor kid looking for some person my friend has never even heard of.  My friend told him this and yet these people have called him repeatedly.  Now that I have THEIR number.  I plan on calling them EVERY time they call my friend.

I had the same exact problem...the person that called me knew my Social and everything. Very scary!

They have been calling me too! Roy and Simon (which Simon claims he's the "supervisor"). They won't tell me what I owe money for or to whom I owe it too. Tell me I should know all of this information already, and if I don't know my financial problems then that's not their problem. They blew up (and I mean blew up) 3 lines at my place of work for 30 minutes straight. 3 different people calling claiming to be this Roy. They were so rude I finally got them to my manager and he ended up hanging up on them. I've told them multiple times that I am recording these calls, that I've contacted the police dept, that I've filed complaints with the FTC and the BBB as well as the State Attorney's office and all they reply with is "That's good!". I have enough problems with anxiety enough as it is and these people are going to get me fired over all of this and then I will have some choice words for them. They won't give any business name they're associated with either and when they answer the phone they say "Investigations". This is seriously ridiculous! How many people are they going to get to do this too before the authorities actually do something about it?!?!
