I just got a call from this number. sounds like telemarketers if I am not the only one

I got the same number and it sounds like it wanted to push 1 to accept the call

I got the same call, "to accept press 1, to leave a message press 2"  NFI

I missed a call from this number on my cell phone.  I wish there were a way to block these numbers.

It's a telemarketing scam aimed to get senior citizens to buy a "free home security system".  They're evidently using local numbers as a way to fool people who often ignore unsolicited phone calls from out of state area codes.  Usually they call my home phone, but called my cell today, both in 617 area code.

just called me, did not answer. telemarketing.

Just called, no message.

Can't these people just go and some hemlock?

My 4th call today thus far on my work phone. Telemarking scam!

Received several call without a message left. I refuse to answer any call that will not leave a message. Suggest you do the same.

Get calls from this number every other day, 617 752 2982, I am on the do not call list, just got another one and when I told him again, the idiot tells me- just trying to do you a favor, this call is recorded.
So not only are they ignoring the do not call list, they are recording calls?
Reporting AGAIN to my state's AG.

Tried to sell me a GE wireless home security system. He started asking lots of questions as to my home and when I refused to share my personal security details  - he just said "ok bye" and hung up immediately. Crooks.

Just reported them on the do not call registry. So annoying..

Got a call July 1st evening from this number. No message. Assume telemarketers because of other comments.

this number rang me briefly on my NH cell. I did not call the number back...

Just got the call, too.  Glad I ignored it.  I think that pestering a lot of people a little bit is just as bad as severely disrupting one person.  These criminals should be treated as if they robbed a store at gunpoint - the net effect is the same.  I wish the AG could really do something about these people.  When the DNC laws first came out the calls dropped entirely, as the crooks realize that they aren't being caught / punished they are back at it.

They call every day with a recording.  I just hang up as soon as i hear the recorded voice! They need to stop!

got the call from 617 752 2982. i did not answer.  i'm in MA and have ATT and a google number attached to my phone.

I got a call on my cell went to do not call list to and registered my number and now I don't get calls just got to the website and you won't get any calls anymore.
