I pressed 1 to yell at a person
I am on the Do not call list, I asked him where he had my number, he said they just go out

I said to take me off now.  He said if it happens again press 8.
But why is it my responsibility for you not to call me in the future, especially since their company is in Boston MA - I doubt Im in their cleaning range.

I received a call from this number on my cell phone, which is on the do-not-call list. It was a recording with a menu at the end. I have filed a complaint with the FCC.

They called me too but left no message. I am also on the Do Not Call list.

Just received a dead air call on my cell phone from 617-778-6798, I am on do not call and I reported this number to FCC http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm

so it says a company called ADVISOR CENTRAL LLC on some sites, i haven't seen carpet cleaning anywhere.  I just got called from 617-778-6798 and also ANOTHER 'carpet cleaning' company yesterday with a 6 digit number.  Personally, its the feds using dummy companies to monitor or locate these numbers to listen in... YES I SAID IT... listen in.  the location Google maps points to, is just off the grid on google maps.... coincidence? i think not...

Just received a call from these losers at 617-778-6798. The message started off by saying, "Hi my name is Bob and I've been cleaning carpets...". Just hung up and reported a complaint at http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm

Just received a call on a personal cell phone that is on the do-not-call list.  Same "Bob" cleaning carpets.  Hung up halfway thru the message and logged the complaint to the FCC.

I just registered a complaint with the Do Not Call registry. This is the third time this week they've called me and I did press "8" last time.

Massachusets call and I am nowhere near there so I did not answer.  My cell actually put where it was coming from even though I don't have actual caller id on it.  I would have had no clue otherwise since that area code is nowhere in the realm of what ones I know and call.  I don't answer people I don't have in my addy book on my cell unless they leave a message.  They left no message.  Why waste my minutes calling them back?  ;)~~  I, also, am on the Do Not Call list so if they are adverts like most of you say, then they shouldn't have me either.  hmmmmmm....  funny how ineffective the DNC list is.

No need to be on the do not call list if they call your cell. Advertising calls to a cell phone are a violation of the FCC without prior consent.

Got a call on my cell (which is redundantly listed in the Do Not Call registry) from this company.  Autodialer voice said it was a Carpet Cleaning company.  I live in California, well outside their service area. This makes me think this is a scam to illegally harvest phone numbers (i.e., to confirm which ones "work").

I called the number back and the message said to press 1 to get on their do not call list and to wait 24 hours for it to kick in. i'll check back to let you know if it worked.

Just got a call from this number.  I did not answer and they did not leave a voicemail. I am on the West Coast they are in Boston MA.  I am in the Nat. Reg. Do Not Call List and recently checked to make sure that is still the case.  It is.  I am making a FCC complaint.

Yeah i just got the same call on my cell and I am on the do not call reg too.  I have friends in Boston, but I live in California too.

They must just be dialing every phone number?
